ERA, are you doing anything on Valentine's day for a partner or loved one? If so, what?

I got some pricey chocolates for my mom. I have no SO, but like every holiday it's an excuse to exercise irresponsible eating and spending habits so I might go out to eat, watch the Sonic movie, and use my debit card on something stupid.
I will! Thank you friend. Trust me I'm a lot happier with these than Gilmore Girls for the 20th time lol
My wife always swears up and down that she doesn't want anything special for Valentines and doesn't care about it, but that never stops me. I'm making her favorite meal, beef stroganoff, and I got stuff to make Moscow Mules, which are her favorite drink. It'll be a fun night. We'll have dinner and keep going with our re-watch of Fargo, and maybe she'll let me make sex to her before I fall asleep.
Unfortunately I'm alone this year. I think I'll just have something nice to eat and watch Groundhog Day.
I haven't done valentine's for around 5 years or so, so with a chance to make an effort for someone I'm very much into:
Tomorrow I'll laser cut a card, collect the bouquet, I'll make baked mac and cheese, bottle of wine and we have tickets to a club night, spend most of the weekend together.

I'm making barbecue pulled pork, macaroni and cheese from scratch, homemade coleslaw, and the most insane peanut butter pie.
I thought about making homemade baked beans but that gives us both the toots which is the opposite of romantic for Valentine's Day.
I show my love through elaborate home cooked meals that take me literally hours to put together.
And we're going to play the Darksiders Co-op game that just came out on Xbox.

Every year we order take out from some of the best sushi place in the city. We swear we won't buy each other anything but we end up with a card and a box of chocolate every time since the last 3 years lol. We watch a series or a movie during the sushi, probably smoke some weed.

How do you manage romantic holidays and whatnot with multiple partners? Does your wife have first right of refusal?
We just discuss it. There are some holidays that are more important to one partner or the other, so we try to balance it.
keeping it really simple and might just go out to grab a few slices of pizza after work, and then spend the rest of the night in with a bottle of wine while i watch her play Witcher 3.
not taking into account the traditional "surprise" flowers ill have delivered to her at work, plus the various chocolates. but as for the rest, money's just too tight and we have absolutely zero energy to go out for a huge to-do or get shit to cook for a really nice at-home meal, especially with her birthday in a week and a half which will, in fact, be a big to-do comparatively.

Steak dinner out with my boyfriend and our mutual friend and her boyfriend, pool hall for a few games and drinks and then we part ways. We each picked out a movie that had a strong impact on us. I picked Contact starring Ms Jodie Foster.

Just another Friday at our house. We love each other all year round, don't need no stinkin holiday for that.
I knew I was going to get a yes and I was still out of control nervous. It didn't help that we were 900 miles away from home, and I was facing an awkward 14 hour drive back if I got rejected. You'll do fine!

Booked a night at a high-end hotel this weekend, to give her a couple days away from the kids with me.
Taking her to a restaurant where the steaks and food start at around $48 just for the cheapest cut. They also have bottles of wine that cost up to $7,000. Although I can't afford that LOL.
Reserved her favorite bottle to be ready to be poured when they seat us.
Everything is crammed together for me too. Valentine's day on the 14th, wedding anniversary on March 16th, her birthday on March 20th. š¤Æ

I hate this day so much but I ordered her some Pj's from one of the Radio ads I heard but her birthday is next week so I can get something nice then.
Cooking together, hanging out drinking some wine, I got to work tomorrow so it'll be an early night for me.
My gf and I are both working on Valentines day, so we're gonna stay in on an off day next week to cook dinner together and watch a movie. Simple and Sweet.
Saturday we are going to see 10,000 Maniacs play at a small bar in Chicago. We do event gifts, not material.
