If you do why, and if you don't why not. It also doesn't have to be exactly Hentai, but that's the most popular form of erotic art these days.

I watch and read hentai, mostly in moderation with real porn. Especially when it comes to watching porn with my girlfriend it's easier for us to come to an agreement over Hentai than it is porn featuring real people.

I will say I've started to cut back on it on my own time, as I've noticed that hentai is becoming more and more filled with very problematic shit and finding straight vanilla stuff or kink with proper consent is harder as NEET focused genres becoming the focus.

I used to watch it a lot when i was younger, but as i grow older much of hentai is too problematic/rapey and it makes me uncomfortable to watch now.

Animated hentai is garbage. There's plenty of good manga/doujinshi if you know the right artists.

Vanilla is pretty easy to find. The primary service provider (FAKKU) of English translated adult Manga is all vanilla. I was reading their message board once where someone said that most artists do vanilla because that is where the money is.

I read a lot of josei/seinen/mature manga/webcomics that tend to have adult stuff in them and I play a lot of VN's including 18+ ones but outside of that I haven't watched or read hentai in a long time so I don't really know what poll option to pick lol.

Yes. I don't watch as much as I used to but that has to do with the fact that I don't really watch anime at all these days.
I read a decent amount. Obviously for the erotic portion of things but also due to the fact that a lot of it doesn't have a huge commitment. Some of that shit is real cute, too. I own a couple of physical releases from Fakku as well. No shame here.

I read it, if mature webtoons count. The sex isn't really what I go for though, I've been getting into Korean webtoons just for the drama. It's like condensing a lifetime show into fifty chapters with all the treachery, pettiness, stupidity and coincidences you'd find in an actual drama. It's entertaining in a trashy entertainment way.

Nope. Now not focusing on the amount of weird/problematic stuff since that's in regular porn too and has nothing to do with the medium but those making it, I have no issue if someone gets off to animated or handrawn erotic images.

However I have never been turned on or understood being turned on by Art, especially with the availability of porn featuring real people, which actually does turn me on.

TL;DR version- I have no issue with it in concept but it's not for me personally.

Then again Hentai has tons of problematic garbage because of shit like loli and it's male counterpart, rape and disgusting shit so maybe it shouldn't exist.
