From what I've seen is the main complaints are how rushed the resolution is, not liking Uruka, and feeling like the girls they actually like won't get proper closure.

Yeah, 22I Go Full focus on Uruka since The Valentine Event and Yuiga himself still no idea how he felt withUruka until his ghost dad's imagination told him.

Uruka was my 1b next to sensei, so I'm okay with her winning. Jump was never going to have sensei win, despite her overwhelming popularity. I'm apparently of the opinion that the decision was not rushed as the story has been moving towards graduation for a while.

It would be kindly unseemly and risky even for a ecchi romcom to have the MC get in a relationship with his teacher. And since Jump is the most mainstream comic magazine in Japan, well that factor lowers the odd even further.

Don't read often, but I did like the confession. It was really sweet.

I hope they try to show what its like to do a long distance relationship, and not just do a timeskip to them getting married like most harems do.

Like I said earlier, this is Jump. If this was a seinen or a shojo mag(shojo kind of has issues with this topic actually), I can see the trigger being pulled. Not so much with the Disney of Japanese comic books.

I know almost nothing about this series at all, never followed it. But even with my limited knowledge, I agree that it's a shame that the teacher girl lost.

For a short context. The authors treat her and mc like a couple who just married and often do a gag "please, wait until his graduations".
More importantly, He was sent back to the past to met her when she was a high school girl and changing the timeline.

I'm fine with how things developed. I think any girl could have worked as the one Nariyuki dates. I do hope we get a look at the college years rather than doing the jump ahead to years later epilogue chapter.

Come one now. Sensei was never going to win and it'd be disturbing if she did. I'm more shocked anyone honestly expected that or really wanted that rather than set their expectations according.

Iam assuming ukuka won? Regardless Bokuben was such a trash story and with predictable trashy skits, I honestly don't know how many people read it this much. Hell even shit like Nisekoi is better than this.

Yes you do realise such relationships are illegal in several countries and the whole wait to graduation is also suspect at best since there's this thing called grooming. People who are upset that the teacher student relationship didn't happen in a manga aimed at teenagers deserve the disappointment.

If series end with her, I don't think Yuiga gonna suddenly marry with her after graduation.
More like when he becomes a teacher which he will be around 22-23 and Mafuyu 27-28

From a writing standpoint, it does feel off -- not like We Never Learn was ever a rom-com masterpiece, but part of the appeal was how neither of the two main girls were telegraphed to win Yuiga's heart (as opposed to, say, Chitoge from Nisekoi); consequently much as our hearts typically sink for the childhood friend, the leads suddenly getting sidelined comes across as...anti-climatic?

Still, it's a feel-good subversion all the same; that, and well, Uruka was my favorite, so I ain't complaining.

I deadass thought Furuhashi was gonna win since she seemed to have the most intimate moments with Yuiga but I'm happy for Uruka too. Tomboys for life

I just wish it wasnt rushed like crazy.
