ESRB rating implies Horizon Chase Turbo is getting a retail release by PM Studios on Switch and PS4

Fancy that. The game's a pretty popular Out Run inspired game and with Out Run's general absence (bar Sega Ages), it's a cool idea to get something like this on store shelves.

Its the perfect arcade racer, and it will be nice to own a retail copy when I buy a Switch. Kinda miffed the mobile version hasn't been updated since Hawaii.

Its more of a top gear 2 or lotus challenge inspired game but lets go with that...

Oh. I've always read it as being an heavily Out Run-inspired game, and it looks like it as well.

Why would a game released 2 months ago be re-rated by the ESRB within the past 2 weeks by a different publisher?

I bought this game on a whim and don't regret it.
Huge amount of tracks, decent number of cars, looks good and runs well on the Switch, and the soundtrack is amazing.

Same composer as Top Gear on the SNES.
