Apparently he's having a mental breakdown and did it all himself. SkyWilliams managed to get in contact with him.

His reddit account posted his deleted channel saying that now it's "his turn to die" so people were reasonably worried. Thankfully authorities are getting involved as well.

He didn't get hacked.
It's him doing the posting of the videos, guys. On his reddit and everything he's been posting, multiple Youtubers are doing everything they can to ensure his safety such as shofu, VI Seconds, Skye Williams and a few others. A lot of people are saying (such as shofu) that we aren't getting played by him or them, they are in the dark just as much as we are. They called cops to locate him and ensure his safety, he's apparently been responding cryptically to people when he's responded. This shit is crazy.

According to Shofu and Rogersbase, whom he is close friends with, they are both worried about him and are trying to get in contact. They are both saying that authorities have been contacted and that help is on the way.

I updated the OP with the info.

I've gotten to this sort of low point in my life before and I know how desperate and hopeless things look but it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I hope he doesn't follow through with it and that he gets the professional help he needs.

Looks like he did it himself, sadly.
If he's gonna be alright, it won't be easy for him to have the same account restored on Youtube. Of course the important thing now is for him to be safe.
Etika is freaking hilarious, I would have never imagined something like this to happen.

I should not have read his subreddit. A large amount of people are jumping over themselves to 'meme' and joke about the situation.

In times like this you don't just keep on acting the fool and making jokes of him dying; that shit gets put to the side until we verify he is okay and getting the help he needs.

Hope he gets found safe and alive and he manages to overcome this situation.

Knew it wasn't a hack because I've been following his content pretty closely. He can be extreme sometimes, the stuff written on his community tab of his yt seemed like...eh, worrying to say the least which made people think it was a hacker.
As bizarre as it was, everything that was done to his YT channel before deletion I'm certain was all his doing.

Either this is his legit reaction to what has been happening to him on twitter and yt recently or, there's some even more bizarre chance it's some kind of fake out? Was totally unaware of this till just an hour ago but if you check his subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/EtikaRedditNetwork/ there is a megathread about a supposed ARG. There is some damning stuff in there, incl. how one of the porn thumbnails he posted hid a compressed message that says "I'm stargazing" which he also has been posting a lot on his own worrying reddit posts and elsewhere. Kinda scary.

Someone tweeted that he was fine. I think people said it was his ex. Though she also said that it was a ride so it may also be a hoax as well

There is also a channel called Etika Reborn that was posting weird videos called where am I and something else could just be someone being a dick though.

You know the situation is bad when you almost have to hope he's having an actual mental break down and isn't doing an arg "for the lulz". The latter as someone who's been hospitalized after having suicidal thoughts after a mental breakdown is incredibly disrespectful to the millions of people who suffer.

God damn if this isn't serious he would be ruined. This shit is nothing to joke about. I've been in very similar situations before including with a close family member and this shit shouldn't be a "joke" or whatever.
