Not if you have your revenge hexers set up.
Nothing's difficult when you have the most OP class in the series!
I'm guessing the upper right side is supposed to represent the pin?
Yes, it's a great starting point and arguably the most accessible one. Also a great game period. So EO4 is $10 on the eShop right now -- should I go for it? I remember playing the demo years ago and enjoying it, but I've never played a full EO game.
Yeah, EO4 is an excellent game, possibly the best one in the series. So EO4 is $10 on the eShop right now -- should I go for it? I remember playing the demo years ago and enjoying it, but I've never played a full EO game.

I'm only on the second floor of the first stratum of E03, and I decided to level grind a little, now I can't stop, bit addictive to me. My entire party is level 20.

I'm gonna start EO3 soon. I haven't played it yet. Very familiar with the music in it though. Some great stuff there.
I find the EO games past the DS era to be relatively simple, until postgame. All of them really to an extent. You might encounter some difficulties here and there, and you might wipe from bad FOEs management or terrible RNG on some trash pack with annoying abilities(petrify and what not), but overall, it's a pretty smooth experience if you're not super underleveled or built a really poor party(no heals no control no tank kind of thing). Post game is where it gets real, generally speaking. That explains why the difficulty felt right on normal and how I didn't die aside from boss /FOE battles. I kept hearing how EO games where difficult that I was always very careful and overprepared.
How about EO1U and 2U? I heard V is a bit more challenging compared to IV.

Because in today's world, it's still harder than a majority of games. The fact that you can die in the first dungeon and then you have to reload a save with the only progress being saved being your map completion already puts it pretty far from other games in which the first area is generally an extended tutorial where the only way to die is to go afk for a while in the middle of combat(assuming real time). EO1 and EO2 untold postgame is quite a bit harder though so you can try that.In that case, I feel a bit better about my ability XD I did 100% EO4 and it felt GOOD.
Then I'm not sure why EO games have this reputation though.

Outside the 3DS games I have played only the first one and the lack of certain QoL tools certainly make it a rough game. I thought it was bearable until I reach the 4th stratum.
