Interesting. Do they roll it into PSNow? Or do they just phase out PSNow as a brand entirely, and make it part of a two-tier Plus subscription?
I'd be curious to see what the overlap is here, but I doubt I'd opt for a more expensive PS+ option solely for a Crunchyroll subscription.
Curious to see how much they'll ball into a more premium offering. Crunchyroll alone obviously doesn't make sense, so I'd assume PlayStation Now as well at minimum, but I'm curious too see if there will be even more. We have a CR sub as well as PS+ (but no desire for PS Now) so depending on the price it might make sense for us anyhow.
It's also nice that Sony is working on unifying Crunchyroll and Funimation into one subscription.

The Apps have been subpar, especially Funi's. Hoping a complete overhaul is in the works now that Sony owns them.
yeah, i subbed to funi to watch Demon Slayer. i was like wtf is this layout and why is it so hard to navigate.
I'm just thinking how Sony might organize their subscription services, akin to how Microsoft has set up Game Pass Ultimate. As is, Plus & Now are separate products - but if they start building out additional 'tiers' of Plus, it might make more sense to have Now as a value-add for an all-in-one PS subscription alongside Crunchyroll.
I mean - it was bought for over $1Billion. By definition it's quite valuable.
