Really interested to see if the decima engine gets ray tracing support with the release of Death Stranding 2 On the Beach since neither Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered nor Horizon Forbidden West on PS5 Pro seem to introduce it. I remember when KojiPro said that they were looking into adding it for Death Stranding on PC in 2020, but decided against it. That was already 4 years ago, but we haven`t heard anything about ray tracing support for the engine. It also seems that Guerilla Games will use their own checkerboard upsacling technology for the PS5 Pro instead of using PSSR.

This is what Capcom says on the blog:
Dragon's Dogma 2 will benefit from the power of the PS5 Pro, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) and new ray tracing technology, allowing improved framerates.
Don't know much about the game so I don't know if it has ray tracing on base PS5.

I think Guerrilla clearly teased in an interview with DF that they were looking to add ray tracing support into the Decima.

It's not confirmed but from the footage of DS2 we have it does look like there is some kind of ray traced global illumination technique in the game.

Ghost Of Tsushima was shown in the montage at the end of the PS5 Pro reveal.

Edit: Nevermind it was Assassin's Creed Shadows

Great list, and considering I held off playing or replaying a number of those because I wanted better performance, Im glad I waited... of course now I gotta wait another month and a bit lol.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease get Plague Tale Requiem patched so its 60FPS on its fidelity mode... that's my most wanted patch.

Also glad to see all Spider-men titles getting patched, that's a triple replay for me asap lol.

I'm interested to see what full gameplay will look like for some of these games, but I won't be buying this. Safe to say the PS5 is halfway through it's life cycle and this technology will be brought over to the successor. Especially when it costs roughly $1k up here in Canada, I'll hold off on any upgrade until the PS6.

Nice job adding those games I sent. Btw I think you should separate out PSVR2 and regular PS5 games.

Have the PSVR2 games at the end, I'm sure there will be many more confirmed soon.

Wouldn't fidelity mode tip it back towards being CPU limited?

Yep, using PSSR in AW2 on the Pro.
Thanks for the confirmation.

Thanks for the confirmation.
Beats me. I dont know how all this tech works. All I want is Requiem to run at a locked 60FPS (no more tearing) with the detail that's lost in perf mode, added back in - that means more foliage, crowds, no more NPC animations cut to lower frame rates at a distance etc.

Hoping for a hefty Star Wars Outlaws update to boost that resolution, for performance mode specifically.

I know launch is still a ways out, but the preorders start tomorrow and I find it curious they couldn't get a larger list of confirmed upgrades. I'm not even expecting footage, but just what titles we can even expect to be included lol

Still no confirmation on exactly what boost mode is going to do for unsupported titles, right?
The same thing it did for PS4 Pro, it just unlocks the hardware so that games use all of it instead of the emulated "base console" mode.

So, unlocked framerates and resolutions just go higher on their own by just having more horsepower.

Hopefully Demon's Souls allows for 1080p120 and 4k60
They have already confirmed that it is graphics mode running at 60 FPS

Still no confirmation on exactly what boost mode is going to do for unsupported titles, right?
It's such a wildly variable feature so they wouldn't commit to anything other than a meaninglessly vague statement anyway. Will have to wait until the likes of DF get their hands on it.

The same as Game Boost on PS5 and PS4 Pro. Higher dynamic resolution and more stable frame rates.

Any games with CPU bound frame drops won't benefit since it's the same. But luckily most games have been GPU limited this gen.

Speaking of which, most games use dynamic resolution nowadays so tons of games will automatically benefit.

That's not how it worked. It didn't unlock all the hardware, just the clock increases.

We'll need some examples before we know how good it is. A list of games with dynamic resolution would be cool if it's going to work well.

Who's gonna take up the mantle for the All games PS5 Pro Enhancements thread?

The PS4 Pro Enhancements thread was such an important resource and sold a lot of PS4 Pros lol I imagine it will be the same for the PS5 Pro.

I may be willing to but I would need a lot of help to make it viable.

BrickArts295 That Jedi Survivor description is misleading, the RT in Performance Mode is only about reflections and ambient occlusion, for full RT global illumination you still need to play the Quality Mode capped at 30 FPS.

I really wish they'd demo the upscaling for select PS4 games, and clarify what ones will be supported at launch.

That actually a solid list, with more to come for launch. Very interested to see what improvements the Pro gives to PS4 games.

Hopefully we hear about a Cyberpunk pro mode before launch.

This is a pretty solid list so far, especially with another 15-20 expected to still be announced based on the 40-50 number Sony gave. Definitely enough to make me feel confident in pre-ordering the Pro tomorrow if I can.

The two biggest surprise no-shows for me currently are God of War Ragnarok and Ghost of Tsushima since those both just got PC ports. Not that there's necessarily a correlation between PC port and PS5 Pro patch in terms of dev resources, just seems natural to commission both together.
