With Rev 2 officially turning 2 years old next month I have to ask; is there any chance at a Rev 3 announcement this weekend? Is Team Red busy with that Battle Fantasia-looking Granblue game or is that Team Blue?

There very likely will not be a Rev 3. The next game will be a new Guilty Gear, which they already soft announced. Don't expect it to be announced anytime soon, either.

Tekken was so good today, but too many matches offstream😭. Knee vs Arslan and later Jdcr as well as Arslan vs Chanel all off stream damn.

That's a real bummer. I woke up and checked the brackets and saw so many names that I figured were a shoe-in for top 8 missing and then checked top 32 and saw there was upset after upset and you're telling me a lot of them weren't even streamed? I've never heard of Arslan but he made it to top 8 in what doesn't really seem like a stacked bracket judging from just top 8 but it definitely was if you go a bit further down to top 32. So definitely mad props to Arslan for beating Knee, Chanel and even evo champ LowHigh and definitely looking forward to seeing him hopefully do well in top 8.

Arslan made waves when he beat Knee(twice!) In a fairly low key tourney in the UAE(I think?). Everyone was astonished by the footage and his crazy sidestep. Really happy he got to travel for this and is making waves again.

to me punk making a run at a japanese tournament is already hype. We also have nemo and momochi so top 8 tomorrow should be a good time

I´ve never paid much attention to the sc6 scene, so who´s top tier in this game? top 8 is pretty diverse so I guessing the game is somewhat balanced?
