Hype.

Will we still get James Chen struggling not to cry at the end of Smash Ultimate?

I really am looking forward to watching SFV at a sensible time (in the UK) actually means I do not have to make arrangements for Monday for once. I will try and catch as much as possible the rest of the weekend though

in for SFV, Tekken, UNIST, BBTAG, MK and DBFZ

SFV Top 8 finals at 9pm (at my timezone) is great.

Good lord, that SamSho list of contenders is like the OG Who's Who of the FGC. I think that the SamSho Top 8 is going to sneakily be the hypest finals outside of Tekken 7.

Not much longer until Cassandra. Continuing to keep expectations low for SFV and BBTAG reveals.

Whoa, I didn’t know that SamSho is where all the big players from the MVC3/SFIV era have gone to die. Might have to check that out.

Literally moving apartments the day before kickoff. It’s always something every year.

Somewhat related: what’s a good way to casually watch / keep tabs on FGC in general throughout the year? Are there any good streams I should be watching? Seems like i always tend to binge a bunch of content during EVO and then I just stop watching anything but the occasional tourney that crosses my twitter feed.

Here for the tournaments, not expecting anything blow away for the announcements other than an unexpected crossover DLC or two.

The Sam sho lineup looks like an old SFIV lineup which amusing.

Also Shaquille UNIEL is probably the best FGC handle ever

Here for Tekken 7, Smash, MK 11 and SC6.
Will watch by curiosity SF5 and SamSho.

Hoping Aris will commentate Tekken 7's top 8, he is the best fighting game commentator right now. Hyped

Of course he will. For as long as he wants it he’ll be allowed to commentate T7 top 8’s.

Anyone flying out to the desert, travel safe. For us stream monsters, it’s almost time to be weapons free.

Tekken will bring the hype with Arslan Ash coming to America.

8wayrun.com has a stream list for most fighting games, though it doesn't update all of them.

I'm going to make it a point to watch most of the games this yr around.

Think I'm most excited for the announcements. I want Capcom to bring the thunder.
