It's the woman from the peloton commercial....
Im down for spinoffs and animated "what if" shorts in which instead of a peloton, she receives the wall mirror thing
This was me. Was fucking confused until I looked up the context. With context though this ad is amazing.Imagine not knowing the context and just thinking she's been through some shit and is drinking to dull the pain.
Which makes it the most realistic hard liquor ad everImagine not knowing the context and just thinking she's been through some shit and is drinking to dull the pain.

So I take it this is her "escaping" and having some drinks because she's been through some shit? For the people who don't know. This woman is from an exercise bike commercial(Peleton meme) where she looks like she is being held at gun point the whole time.
She has friends watching out for her and caring for her, though.Doesn't seem like she's drinking very responsibly, that's allowed in liquor ads in the US?
Beat me to it.
I was gonna say, liquor commercials here almost never show someone actually drinking itDoesn't seem like she's drinking very responsibly, that's allowed in liquor ads in the US?
yes. The joke is that she is with her girlfriends at a bar after breaking up with the abusive Peloton boyfriend. So I take it this is her "escaping" and having some drinks because she's been through some shit?
a link to this other commercial or whatever would be good for context
Are the same requirements/guidelines that TV ads have extend to Twitter? There's no disclaimers or text of any kind so I assume it's not held to the same standards or necessarily even considered an ad.Doesn't seem like she's drinking very responsibly, that's allowed in liquor ads in the US?
Note: She has a wedding band in the Peloton commercial, but not the Aviation Gin one.
Surprising theres nothing in her contract that prohibits her from appearing in any other commercials within a certain window after the peleton ad, especially for products like alcohol.

I hope we see her show up in other commercials as the same character but for other brands.
I was thinking about that. I guess because she doesn't say anything and everything is implied she can do it. Might not get a call back from pelton.Surprising theres nothing in her contract that prohibits her from appearing in any other commercials within a certain window after the peleton ad, especially for products like alcohol.

I think all of their lines were really well delivered. This is amazing. Also her delivery of the "Really?" when her friend offers her the drink is hilarious.
It's just a bad, creepy ad when her selfie and performative display to us the audience comes into play. That perspective shift gets creepy, and becomes a problem of copywriting. This thread is worth reading fully through:
