XSX sold more than the PS5 DE?

What a time to be alive.

Stellar Blade seems to be doing well.

Really great legs from Stellar Blade, less than a 30% drop compared to last week. Game went out of stock in most places so it was expected.

I hope Nintendo is paying attention to the sales ratio of their OLED v. LED Switch models. The people prefer OLED nearly 10:1 and they're willing to pay a premium. They need to consider that when deciding what screen to use for the Switch 2

Yeah their takeaway is going to be "oh so we can get these people to double dip quite easily!"

Wow Stellar Blade! That well exceeded my expectations.

Yeah I'm glad to see those random reports of it selling out in some places held water. I was expecting 6-9k, so this is a very pleasant surprise.

not very practical to do this when the old model has been produced in much lower quantities. they're controlling the ratio to get these numbers.

Stellar blade looks good, probably heading over 100K physical, so it will at least it will join that club for PS5.

Switch is not bad still hovering near 50K, and Xbox is showing good strength but may be due to Minecraft promotions.

PS5 is starting to head towards probably its real baseline of sub-20K.

Ring Fit out of nowhere made me double take. Luminous didn't drop off immediately but I was hoping for more of course. Stellar Blade seems to be doing fine.

We could start seeing sub 20k PS5 totals soon which is pretty bad.

Why is Ring Fit so high? lmao

It's just a crazy high-selling game in general. IIRC, it's the best-selling Switch game that isn't connected to an existing IP. It's at over 15 million sales worldwide right now.

It's also one of the few physical-only games these days so there's no digital sales splitting the numbers.

You're joking right?

Switch just became the best selling system of all time in Japan. And it still has probably right around a year of no competition. And it looks like Nintendo might do a few cross gen titles, though I'd imagine they are all going to be relatively minor things. And it might still be the primary platform for DQ XII.

It's ludicrous for the Switch to be selling this well this late in it's life. The Game Boy is the only system to ever do this well in its seventh year and that was because of a once in a lifetime revival due to Pokemon. Some of us see 47k in a non holiday, non sale, non limited edition model, non major release as ho him boring when it is almost exactly the opposite. It's so unusual that we've become desensitized to it.

Nintendo has gotta be the king of the evergreen titles
Reportedly they have that down to a science even.
For example, they know that it's only after the 11th week that they know if a title is going to be an evergreen or not.
it's impressive how they manage to make them nearly on demand too.
