It makes me wonder what Nintendo's big IP will be. Splatoon, and to an extent Xenoblade, has now cemented themselves into Nintendo's stable of IPs. I'm wondering how many big new IPs we'll see this gen. I have a feeling we'll be seeing another one this year

Back in the day, Crash Bandicoot was one of the few western characters that actually saw some blockbuster success in JP, with the second and third games selling over a million each. I guess they just don't have nostalgia for the brand anymore.

Back then, there used to be dozens of commercials featuring the Japanese Crash suit guy doing the dance. They didn't even try for this which is rather unfortunate.
