Don't the villains usually get the cover spot, not the protags?
I would love to hear your reasoning for why you believe this cover to be racist.
There have been six Far Cry games with the protagonist on the cover. There have been three Far Cry games with the antagonist on the cover. It's just that those three got way more attention than the other six.
There is something about recent Far Cries and how they present themselves that annoys me to no end. In this case all the stupid drawings on the couch and the car, the car itself functioning as a cross, the garish colors... everything looks so fucking tacky and every character looks extremely punchable.
At least these two ladies, whatever their role in the game, are a big improvement over those white, bearded hipster men from FC5. (I don't know if they were hipsters, probably not, but they sure looked like it.)

I rather enjoyed Far Cry 5. If this gives 'meaning' to the game's ending then I may well give Far Cry 5 another playthrough.

The cover is obviously created to cause controversy, so it is inherently racist. I thought we were already past these kinds of publicity stunts, but I guess not...

Yep, this is absolutely a follow-up to 5 and I'd be amazed if it didn't use at least the height map, like Primal did with 4's map.
I hope the villains didnt take their inspiration from heath ledgers joker like they did in far cry 5. By that I mean "im edgy and evil but I have a message"

Putting the physical copy in your cart via the Wario64 links says a release date of February 15th, 2019
It obviously isn't releasing tomorrow, shadowdropping a retail game is impossible because early copies are always gonna leak at least a few days before.
