There won't be many reviews about as no codes sent out, these fine folks bought the game to bring you their thoughts. Looks like codes for PC got sent out a week or so after release, so plenty more reviews added.

Didn't see a thread, send me back to Mrs. Hooper's if dupe.

In a saner, less cruel world Crossroads might have been put to rest when it became clear it just wasn't going to work - as it is, it's just been left to limp out in this sorry, sorry state. What a disappointment.

Push Square 3/10
How Fast & Furious Crossroads wound up as a full-price release will forever remain a mystery. It is lacking in every department possible, from shallow and repetitive gameplay through to abysmal visuals that belong on the previous generation of consoles. Not even the most committed Fast & Furious fans should subject themselves to this monstrosity.

gamespew 3/10
Fast & Furious Crossroads is a serious disappointment. There's a gleam of the franchise's over-the-top action now and again, and some of the cutscenes hint at the cheesy humour the movies are known for. But those moments are few and far between. Underwhelming visuals and uninspiring mission design stop Fast & Furious Crossroads from being a good game – but it's the terrible, terrible handling that relegates it into 'bad' territory.

WayTooManyGames 3.5/10
Do you remember those old "Russian driving fail compilations" on Youtube? Remember how we used to laugh at people being completely incompetent at driving in a straight line? Well, Fast & Furious Crossroads is the video game equivalent of that. It's a masterpiece of incompetence, a game so devoid of redeeming qualities to the point that its ineptitude ends up being its greatest selling point. You can have a blast with this game, not by actually having fun with its mechanics or set pieces, but by laughing at how bad it is.

Metro 2/10
In the more ludicrous missions, when you're switching between different characters to use their car's unique abilities, there's a hint of what a good Fast & Furious video game could be, but you're better off just watching one of the movies again and imagining it via that, as it'd be considerably cheaper and vastly more entertaining.

game reactor 3/10
Being a studio that in recent years has given us great games like Project Cars and Project Cars 2, it feels really tragic that Slightly Mad has sunk so incomprehensibly low. There is no doubt in my mind that Fast & Furious Crossroads is the worst game of the year so far. Don't touch it, not even with a dipstick.

the xbox hub 2/5
With dreadful controls, no map of where to go (seriously, this one change alone would make the game so much better), nor any in-game speedo to see how fast you are going, Fast & Furious Crossroads on Xbox One is a massive let down. Online is messy at best, and while the storyline is a corker, the way that every mission seems to play out the same, just in a different place, makes me sad.

TheGamer 4/5
I can understand why some people might bounce off Crossroads. Its story is campy, its driving unrealistic, and its physics and graphics a bit on the wonky side. This is the furthest thing from a polished AAA experience, and it's very clear that Bandai Namco isn't marketing it much because of that.
While sixty bucks might be a big ask for most, anybody who's longed for a return to dumb mid-aughts car games, or anyone who broke down into heaving sobs at the end of Furious 7, will likely get their money's worth from this one.

game informer 5/10
Many of us lived through the era of video games that was overflowing with bad movie-to-game adaptations, and Crossroads is a pointed reminder of those days, showing just how far games have come since then. It's a mess of a game that hones in on why the Fast movies are great, but will make you want to put the controller down to watch one of those movies instead.

polygon unscored
Mediocre games happen, often despite everyone's best efforts, but it's this seeming attempt to launch the game under the radar, offering big-name recognition but nothing else besides that, that moves Fast & Furious Crossroads from the "these things happen" pile to the "transparent cash-in" bucket. The good news is that, based on the 27 reviews on Steam so far (mostly negative) and the long wait to find anyone to play with online, almost no one was fooled.

Top Gear unscored
The problem is, the game constantly feels on the verge of shaking itself apart. Crossroads is ambitious in its own way, with a couple of surprisingly large open cities to shuttle across during missions, but the technology just doesn't seem up to the challenge. This is a game that is positively riddled with bizarre glitches, ropey graphics and frustratingly woolly objectives in missions. There's also the lurching, lunging handling which makes you feel less like a heroic member of the Fast crew and more like you're in charge of an unruly, nitrous-equipped shopping trolley.

kotaku (impressions, not review - unscored)
The most impressive thing about Fast & Furious Crossroads is the balls of Bandai Namco to release it as a full, $60 video game. This is budget fare at best. I would go as far as calling it the best of budget fare, but there's not a whole lot of game here.
Fast & Furious Crossroads has great cars, great stars, a silly action movie story, and gameplay that could be a whole lot worse. It's the video game equivalent of a direct-to-video sequel, only Bandai Namco's decided to take their chances releasing it in theaters. It's worth playing, but I'd wait until it's much cheaper.

Easy Allies 4/10
Fast & Furious Crossroads brings nothing meaningful to the franchise or racing games in general. At full price, you should absolutely stay away even if you are a diehard veteran of the series. Horrible voice acting, dated visuals, weak sound effects, no customization, and cumbersome controls all contribute to a lifeless slog. There are a few short-lived moments of success, but they aren't worth putting up with a game where you never feel like more than a co-pilot. Hopefully in the future, Fast & Furious will know when to stay in its lane.

Playstation Lifestyle 4/10
There are some bad licensed games out there that I could still recommend to the hardcore fans out of love for the series but Fast and Furious Crossroads is so bad that only the absolute die-hard fans will get any enjoyment out of this one. And even then, you may want to strongly reconsider this stain on an otherwise loved franchise.

New Game Network 35/100
Fast & Furious Crossroads just can't get anything right, becoming yet another licensed movie tie-in that fits the negative stereotype. The presentation is dated and actors reprising their roles is but a small consolation. A brief and very linear campaign with poor gameplay offers terrible value for a full priced release. The PC version suffers further, with empty multiplayer, instability, and barely any options.

IGN 4/10 BAD
Short, shallow, and surprisingly simple, Fast & Furious Crossroads is a disappointment in almost every department.

Destructiod 3/10
Fast & Furious Crossroads is the closest the series has come yet to delivering an experience worthy of the blockbuster movie franchise, but skids off track with dull missions, frustrating mechanics, and lonely multiplayer lobbies. Crucially, the driving itself just isn't fun, resulting in a bland experience interchangeable with any other street racing franchise.

Game Grin 4/10
With dreadful driving controls, insufficient content and an egregious price tag, it's hard to recommend Fast & Furious Crossroads to anyone unless you are a die-hard Fast & Furious fan. Even then, wait for a steep sale.

Angry Joe 2/10

Malditos Nerds 3/10

multiplayer.it 4/10

Why did this even get made? Even if it was to promote the movie, it's not like the movie needed that shit. It was gonna make bank.

Something I'll always point out with license/contract-style style work is that generally speaking, the studio can only deliver what the client asks/pays for. Sometimes the client wants a result even when there's minimal budget to actually execute on it, and others, they insist on control over aspects that make the end-product come out like a hot mess.

I love that this closed the game awards
Yeah that was so bizarre. It's was the biggest wet fart. Despite everything that was shown on screen I wondered if Geoff knew something about the game that we didn't. Nah, he just needed some celebs on camera. It would have made sense to be anywhere worse on the show. They should have ended with the series x.

Slightly Mad Studios made this? Damn, that's quite a step down from Project CARS...
Not only did they make it apparently this is what the CEO said on a livestream about the game:

when pcars 2 came out i remember Ian Bell going on a random livestream and saying how they are making a game based on a movie series thats gonna rival NFS and FH.

That was 3 years ago...

Slightly Mad Studios to Develop a Fast and Furious Game?

Project CARS 2 isn't even on store shelves yet, but the team at Slightly Mad Studios is looking towards its next project. Studio head Ian Bell revealed during a live-streaming event that SMS is working on a new franchise. Although he didn't go into the specifics of the title, Bell dropped a few h

He seemed so sure it was going to be better than need for speed too

Geoff really needs to read the room better with some of these reveals he books. He didn't book the reveal trailer because it was going to be a game that folks wanted: he booked the trailer because he got Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez on stage at his show.

Also, in the style of Ja Rule...

METASCOOOOOOOORE
He is trying very hard to get celebs on the show, but just like in the past EA e3 shows you can clearly sse that most a clue about games just there for show.

"Guess what the latest Need for Speed is doing, and have a think about which Hollywood film they're copying. And then I can tell you we have a six-year deal with that major Hollywood company to make games that'll beat what Need for Speed is currently doing. For the next six years."

oh no bby what is you doing?

It was 100% a marketing deal. He gets Vin Diesel on stage, but only in exchange for closing the show. It makes sense, it's just a shame the game turned out this way haha
