Now this is what I like to hear.
Just got my feet wet yesterday and it's already looking much more promising than the beginning of the previous singularities. Also holy difficulty spike batman. At least for the first few fights, I actually had to put some thought into them instead of facerolling like I've been doing until now. Wouldn't have it any other way, it feels much more immersive (and fun) to actually struggle a bit on what's supposed to be a canonically very difficult mission for the protagonists. Granted it eased up a bit after the first few nodes but I'm guessing it'll pick up again eventually. It probably "helps" that I always limit myself to story support servants. Excited to continue it today.
So I ended up playing some more E7 as I got Angelica on one of my opening rolls today. It's funny that it has the opposite issue of FGO, which is as you guys have said already, there's too much to do. It makes me question what the middle ground needs to be, because FGO feels like it always misses it. Events can often be too grindy, but when there's not an event the game can often be completely dead.
Ah well, in 6(?) days CCC will start and this will all be irrelevant. E7 just doesn't have the same appeal as this game to me, but it's fun to play while there's nothing on and the game is fresh (for me).

I only care for gacha games if they either have an entertaining story to follow, good characters, genuinely good gameplay or are part of a franchise I'm already invested in. From all I've read about E7 its story and characters don't sound particularly interesting, and the gameplay looks somewhat average with lots of grinding, so it doesn't tick any boxes for me. I've been trying to get into GBF lately just because its art direction is gorgeous, but it's been difficult to get invested due to the overwhelming amount of systems and menus. It's very unfriendly for beginners and the gameplay hasn't clicked with me so far, but I'm willing to stick with it for a while. Another Eden looks interesting, I'll check it out for Masato Kato and Matsuda's involvement. A Madoka game already ticks at least one of my criteria (attachment to the franchise) so if it has a nice story or characters then I'm all in.
If you haven't already started Another Eden now is a great time as global got Japan's anniversary bonus (please take notes fgo) and right now it only takes 20 minutes to do the first 10 roll and not 3 hours.

Yeah, it's been going for about a year and a half in Japan. From what I heard, the first "arc" is nearing its completion, but like FGO I'm sure they'll just start another one. The game seems to be doing well.
As for the gameplay, from the videos I've watched it looks pretty similar to FGO. That could be a good or bad thing, depending on your preference, but I'm absolutely okay with that.

I'd allowed myself to actually be expecting it, so I'm quite disappointed that we have to wait a few more days. I want to roll already! I'm trying to conserve my luck so I haven't made a premium-currency roll in any of my gacha games since around Valentine's (Azur Lane doesn't count because cubes aren't what you pay money for) and my need to roll is very real!

Hella excited to finally know what the fuck the deal is with the connection between the Mooncell and the FGO universe. There are some questions i have about Extra that wiki dives don't want to answer or spoil. I doubt the event they will leave out an explanation for this weird concept.

Getting these kind of rewards early just means less rewards at first, the total will increase over time with more servants and associated quests. Retroactive rewards are fun because you get a lot of free shit since you did all the work in the past, at least i don't leave any of those quests for later.
I mean strengthens and interludes are kind of relevant to the balance of the time and story of the time, so I don't think they really need to be fast tracked, though I get it can be frustrating if you have a or like a servant that's weak until they get theirs.

Back button, drag select, and autoburn are three of the best QoL improvements. Now all NA needs is event CE filters and the ability to move equipped CEs around in party selection and everything will be great.
