This is simultaneously some of the best and worst luck I've had in this game lmao.
Edit: ok you know what, I'll be happy with this. Not going to use Xiang yu nor Anne Mary at all, but I'll be happy with Jack and summer carmilla. Summer carmilla's FA is gorgeous.
I'm liking the design of Okita and Lartoria. Definitely better than the first banner. I'll wait on skills though. That trailer made me biased because that Okita zoom looked sick and Lartoria looked...well yeah. But I don't have any particular love for either so they would need to offer something unique.
Edit: just seen summer Camilla's FA...that tug is one of my many weaknesses.

Edit #2: why did they make Musashi's chest look fake in her FA? I'm not sure if that's some jab at the west or what.
Edit #3: Okkie's 3rd ascension looks nice. Her skills look good too. May have to consider. I need a second archer as well.
Tilith is what broke me I remember; I didn't even LIKE her I just need I "needed" her and it just wasnt fun. I peek at the thread now and then on reset and it seems full of getting dupes lol
Ah so it was Tilith. We thought it was but we were never sure.
Yeah now it's all about 7*s, and to make a 7* you need a dupe 5* base. But they're pretty generous with rolls so you end up duping a lot of stuff. Just makes time limited banners completely shit.
I will start saying that had I not did 1x10 roll for CE I would have been much better off as those 2 Helenas would have been 2 Raikou, overall I have gone north of 500 SQ and I stopped and I had budgeted enough cash to purchase 2 big packs.
Twice have I seen the beguiling light of gold on my first roll and twice have been I deceived, first by Orion and then by Maid Alter, the game was openly mocking me and I knew I was going into a salt mine.
After that I got to NP3 Raikou quickly without having to use the budgheted cash, and then THAT's where things turned south fast.
After that it started an endless series of spook, before I got my last two copies back to back, here's a list which includes orion and maid alter mentioned above
maid alter x 5 (my first NP5 and also my first Unregistered Spirit Origin)
orion x1 (Orion is now NP3)
casgil x1 (this was welcome)
emiya x1
emiya ass x1
zerkalot x1 (this too was welcome)

I am drained of Saint Quartz, but not salty, I got some servants I wanted and Maid Alter may not be a powerhouse but I like her, and I got Raikou.
I can say with confidence I am not going to roll for Eresh and or Penth.
Re: the new summer servants I can also say with confidence that in 2 years I'll be truly doomed as I'll definitely be rolling for Musashi and Melt.
I'm honestly totally OK with not going crazy for summer 4. Or even trying to whale for anyone. Like summer 2 literally the only servant I must have is the welfare.

3 aoe servants. Summer 4-1 really is an easy skip for me. Carmilla's FA is very tempting, but I'll resist. Musashi seems good but the other two seem underwhelming to me at this point in time.
That skin is the definitely the only viable one, now confirmed lol. I did think she might be able to NP loop but I wasn't sure. The wiki has her NP at 4 attacks but that seemed like 8. Her skill 2 shouldn't effect her NP so guess the wiki is just wrong.

No love for the Gunblade animations or the English NP?
Also I'd have to read her bond lines, but her divinity probably comes from the runes in her third ascension channeling more of Tenman Dai-Jizai Tenjin's energy.

I like the gunblade animations but I really hate that second skin. I think the third skin is nice. It's a wholesome summer outfit that I think suits Musashi. I also think the animations on it are equally as good, and the NP animation is way way better.
Plus I think her main role is a farmer that can self loop, so you wouldn't see her animations often anyways. Thus better NP animation wins for me haha.

I can honestly see why though. Whale loop setup, damage isn't crazy for the amount of support you have to put into it, crazy 5K demerit for a berserker so you can't actually do anything other than farm with her, and her loop setup doesn't work for every enemy type.

I prefer Summer Osakabehime without glasses, so her FA is a bit disappointing for me. Why ruin such a lovely face? In other hand, Summer Carmilla art's is absolutely glorious. Dayum.

So, I had 180 quartz saved for this event. Since the event is grindy and I liked all the servants of the first banner, I decide to split my roll in 120 quartz for the first banner and 60 quartz for Raikou rate up banner.
My first 120 quartz didn't go well, as the only SR servant I got was Elisabeth Bathory.

I don't like that you need almost every support hero under the sun though. I don't have my own Tamamo, will Para work in his place? And will I have to grail him? Cause I'm not about grailing purely for gameplay.

Since there was no Eresh nor tails in the second banner (d'oh! Bunny Lion King probably has one, even if it isn't real!), I decided to make a meme roll for CEs on JP. Got nothing. I made another and got the Bradamante CE and Okki. Okki was the only banner 1 Servant I was interested in, so I'm done until the second banner drops.
For me, part of it is that all the parts of it feels so disconnected. Other than the three guys in the casino, everyone we see is on their own. The locations each scene is in don't feel very cohesive, either. Oui is in front of a painting-style ocean in front of desert bluffs, Okki is dropping onto a tropical island (when the event is set in Las Vegas), Melt is on a giant roulette wheel, Lion King is on a random red carpet, and Musashi at a desert canyon. Carmilla and Okita are at least kind of connected, both being in a city at night, though Carmilla is on the ground and Okita is flying for some reason. Yeah, it definitely gives off a gambling vibe, but they don't all fit together.
In previous Summer CMs, we had a group playing volleyball, everyone preparing for a race, and Ushiwakamaru and Ibaraki on a date. The Servants in them felt tied together. This one just felt random to me.

Ah ok. I think the issue isn't so much the CM as it is the designs of the summer servants themselves. Everything you're saying really applies to them. It mostly feels like they got 6 random servants without any coordinated theme.
In regards to the actual CM I will say that if the theme is gambling, Carmilla and Okita being in the city makes sense just because when you think of the casino you think of the big city. Carmillla is dressed like a high roller too. I don't think they all need to be in the exact same place as long as the theme is synonymous. But the rest of it does feel disjointed yeah.
Summer Carmilla is literally perfect design and animation wise, my only issue is that her car seems too LQ in her NP. Not sure how good she is tho, seems really good on paper. Good NP gen, low star gen, great team utility skills but 6 turn cooldowns. So very high utility, high crit damage, no looping, low NP damage? Might not be worth np5ing then. If her 2nd skill still activates if the enemy dies it's pretty baller.
Shame about summer musashi, barely looping on doors isn't a great indicator considering they have super low HP and caster 1.2x NP return, and that 5k health demerit is insane. Garbage for hard quests, mediocre for farming, releasing her right after Altjuna and Chen gong is especially insulting. At least her 3rd NP animation is P good tho, shame you can't use it with the 2nd skin because the 3rd one is wack. Why would they do this to the coolest saber, she deserves so much better.

Did you mean 120 SQ? Because I don't think it's possible to spend exactly 130 SQ. If so, five SRs in 40 pulls is a very decent outcome! Who are you thinking of as your next target after Summer?
120 was right and yeah I can't complain. I should've quite while I was a head though because after that I bought a pack had all of 1 Siegfried to show for it, I'll try once more tomorrow and call it quits. Gacha giveth gacha taketh.
