Police Story 1

Good story, amazing fights. Jackie's character felt less and less compelling in the sequels. Like he became too much of a caricature.

Drunken Master 2 for sure, but I have a soft spot for Rumble in the Bronx since it was my first Jackie Chan film

You can't go wrong really.

But in the recent favorite movies thread I did choose Snake in the Eagle's Shadow. Now I'm leaning towards Drunken Master 2.

Mine is Armour of God 2: Operation Condor. Awesome fight choreography, amazing stunts, and a nice balance of comedy.

Rush Hour 1/2 might be my most watched movies ever
Always double featured them, so I think I'm prolly even on them.

Seeing Drunken Master 2 in the theater was one of the greatest experiences of my life I was just so blown away from start to finish.

Who Am I.

Which is an unpopular pick, I know.

Who am I? without a doubt.... the Final fight/act is one of the greatest action set pieces in all of cinema. the choreography, editing, camera shots is unreal and Jackie sliding off the building. Just wows me even today. All of his films are excels t for the most part. The fact that he does all his stunts is icing on the top. You get the best angles

1. Police Story 1
2. Drunken Master II
3. Project A

I first knew Jackie from his Hollywood stuff (I was a kid when Rush Hour 1 and 2 were massive hits) but all that honestly pales in comparison to his earlier Hong Kong work.

Wheels on meals has one of the greatest fight scenes committed to cinema, but I'd argue it's not one of Jackie's best overall. I'd say Project A might qualify as one of his overall best.

Drunken Master 2 is relentlessly good with its fight scenes. Just so weird, creative and impressive at the same time.

Armour of God
Project A
Wheels on Meals

These were all shown on Channel 4 in the UK in the early '90s and will forever be the "ultimate" Jackie Chan films for me. I'm not saying they're the best, although you could still argue that, but they left such an impression on me as a kid, I'll never forget them.

Project A probably has the best slapstick comedy though.

I remember liking Rumble in the Bronx but the scene with the woodchipper fucked me up when i was younger.
