I wonder if Apex Legends will have a Fortnite-like effect and provide a sales boost to the PS4 and Xbox One?
Like Fortnite, it doesn't require a gold subscription on the PS4.
At the very least I'm sure we'll see headset sales spike again.
Think Mar10 day sales are going to have a notable impact on March software rankings? Apparently NSMBUDX was sold out on Amazon for a while.
Was it just download codes that were discounted? I thought it had applied to physical copies of all the Mario games, otherwise I didn't think they would sell out.
In total software numbers released by Nintendo, yes. In NPD, no.
It's still a retail copy, even if it isn't a physical game card. I'm pretty sure those are tracked by NPD if they are sold by retailers.
Making room for PS5 launch I see.
Damn you missed it by 1 minute!
19th according to OP.
Crackdown 3 is ultra bomba territory at retail
It will have to have an absurd digital split to even rank Top 5 for the month tbh
That makes sense from what we saw elsewhere.Crackdown 3 is ultra bomba territory at retail

Do you have any impressions for DMC V in the US?
Alright, good to heat things are looking good so far, considering sales seemed lukewarm in Japan and UK. Makes sense to wait a bit on DMCV, of course. I'm curious if the good reviews give it notable legs.Seems to be pretty good. But I dont have too much to say yet on DMCV. Wanna see some 2nd week numbers first
That's your fault! I was waiting for your post ;-)Holy crap I completely forgot yesterday was the deadline.
Damn you missed it by 1 minute!
So, interestingly, my process to save the webpages for the thread for the parser to use runs at 1 minute past the hour local computer time, just in case my computer's time was off. When it saved page 4, Andromeda's post was not there. When it tried to save a prospective page 5, it got page 4 again (i.e. the last thread page), and Andromeda's post was there. So with this wierdly timed scenario, my process to save the webpages did technically pick it up, so Andromeda's prediction will be counted. (^_^)
People always overestimate Xbox here.
Here it goes:
Switch: 1
PS4: 0.78
XBO: 0.62
3DS: 0.15
Others: 0.39
YoY:
Switch: +30%
PS4: -22%
XBO: -29%
Best selling software (physical only): Smash, Jump Force and KH3
Switch did 279k last year, so that means it did 363k this year. PS4 did 363k last year (heh), and 283k this year. XB1 did 310k last year, and 220k-225k this year.
