Furries, feet, pet play, people who want HIV, baby talk, roleplay etc...

I have not discovered any fetishes of my own, so maybe I have trouble understanding for that reason.

When people have tried to tell me about their "fursona" I have gotten so uncomfortable and want the conversation to end.

When I was young, around 12, I was at downtown Disney (now Disney Springs) and saw a man in a red leather corset being led around on a leash by a large short goth woman... that was awkward for the family tbh.

I'd love to not have any reaction to it. I believe people should get to live their lives.

maybe I'll just get over it eventually, that would be ideal.

EDIT: ok apparently some people are into the idea of being eaten?

The fetishes in the OP vary wildly in weirdness I think. feet, baby talk, roleplay. whatever have your fun. furries or bdsm people who do that stuff way out in the open? weird and uncomfortable and I'd elect not to see that while out shopping or something but fine, enjoy your stinky costume. people who want HIV or to be eaten? fucked up

My friend was propositioned by someone who did sound effects and compositing for a Broadcasting Company in the UK - he asked for my friend to sign up to a balloon porn site in exchange for full and then uncut television theme tunes (my friend collected them). He declined but we called the guy Phileas Fogg after that. I don't think they're in contact any more.

Most fetishes are fine, I don't understand the furry hate they're not harming anyone and seem to have fun. They're not exactly shagging actual animals.

There was a community years ago that wanted to spread HIV, like a small forum. I swear a whole fad/meme came out of it, the "Poz Loads in the Neg Butts" thing. Not certain if I would qualify it as a fetish, necessarily, but it is certainly something.

OP, there are tons and tons of fetishes that people enjoy for multitudes of reasons and prior experiences. It may not necessarily be what you are in to (as you mentioned, you aren't quite certain yourself at this point), but ultimately it comes down to just respecting them and moving on, especially if it makes you feel uncomfortable.
