Square Enix's popular RPG series "Final Fantasy (FF)" has shipped more than 173 million units worldwide since its first release in 1987. In this program commemorating the 35th anniversary of December 18, 2022 (Sunday), we will deliver a talk show with gorgeous performers and a live game.

First, on December 13 (Tuesday) at 20:00, the opening program will feature " Final Fantasy VII Rebirth " producer Yoshinori Kitase, "Theatrism" series producer Ichiro Hazama, and "Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion" producer. In addition to welcoming Mariko Sato as a guest, we will look back on memories and episodes related to the "Final Fantasy" series, introduce "Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion" released on the same day, and develop a must-see talk for series fans. In the long game commentary that followed, a diverse lineup of performers spent six days leading up to the 35th anniversary, with numbered titles from the first FINAL FANTASY to FINAL FANTASY XV, aiming to clear the story. increase. On the last day, December 18th (Sunday) from 20:00, the ending program will feature celebrities who are known to be fans of FINAL FANTASY. We will hold a "Fan Talk" where you can talk about the theme.

Can we expect some new footage or just a recap of what we have?

Nomura said, the next time we will see Rebirth it will be a big blowout. I somehow doubt this will be the case here.

edit: Wait, it doesn't even say Rebirth will be there, just Rebirth's prodcuer Yoshinori Kitase.

They're literally going to be talking about Final Fantasy for five straight days. If they don't give us news, we riot!

It's just saying Kitase will be there and they mention him as producer of Rebirth, that's all. It doesn't mean Rebirth will be at the stream.

It just says Kitase will be there, not necessarily Rebirth, very easily could just be talking about FF7/R in general.

It would be absolutely bonkers if S-E had a release date trailer for FFVII Part 2 after revealing a release date for FFXVI. Probably not a good idea but who knows anymore.

So this is the general 35th anniversary stream and events?

If this is the main 35th stream it is going to have a lot of new stuff. People shouldn't focus on 7R, as FFT and FF9 would be the major news breakers there. Calling out just 7R in the title is a bit misleading as people have been waiting for this event and the titles there for months.

Square Enix always does anniversary streams and sits on announcements for these. DQ35th had 5 games announced. KH20th had 3 games announced. Have high expectations for once!

There's a lot coming. PR ports, 9R, TR, are headliners for three of the days if they are being spread out.
