FF7 - The First Soldier (Mobile Battle Royale) Announced

So it's VII's second time now...
This happened with FF7 before, it's just a repeat of the Compilation. They milked FF7 to death back then, and they'll do it again now.
As a concept this is totally wack and will probably fail but i will totally play it regardless, hopefully i can kill people dressed up as a moogle!
I see some reactions acting as if this was the only think SE announced today which would suck ass. They knew this and sandwiched it between two pieces of greatness. I see right through you SE

If I'm Bob Gamer, why the heck would I choose to try PUBG over a battle royale based on one of the most successful IPs in the entire gaming industry. All this dev team has to achieve is get to a place where when people are comparing FF to any other battle royale they say "hey these are both pretty solid battle royale games but in this one you can use a buster sword and do cool buster sword things". I'm genuinely struggling to imagine a more straightforward no brainer choice for myself as a gamer without delving into the realm of just making something completely crazy and unrealistic up

Im not even vaguely a battle royale fan, I jumped once in Fortnite, I hated it, deleted it, and have not looked back but that brief FF footage already has me like "oh maybe I should try that". Same for most of my other friends. It really feels like they may have just made an entire audience of people who actively don't care about battle royales start paying attention all of a sudden + I'm sure they're gonna make it a pretty attractive offering for veterans
No hate on other battle royales out there ofc outside them just not being my thing. I'm actually super impressed with PUBG in particular for how well they've grown such a huge community and supported their esports scene but come on this is Final Fantasy

I tried COD on mobile with an Xbox pad and was was getting10:1 k/d without even trying lol. It was like shooting down targets on an in game gun range.

Controller players play against controller players. If you were getting such K/D ratio, then you were playing against bots. Also, despite what people may think, experienced touch players can give a hell of fight(and even consistently win) against controller players. CODM Pro Players are using 4,5, even 6 fingers at the same time to control their actions.
This is just so stupid that it's actually brilliant. I would totally give this a shot if not the for the whole "mobile exclusive" thing.
When news came out about these trademark names I would never have guessed we were getting an FF7 Battle Royal. Like...what? It looks like something I'll try but just...what?
