Yeah, what's up with that? 2PM Local would be 7AM UK which is a pretty standard race time isn't it?Banger of a qually! Not getting up at 4AM though.
I'll probably get up around 7am and watch it on record and then proper qually directly after.

As I understand it that was the previous lap to his pole lap
Correct.
I freely admit it's not necessarily directly transferable, but in some racing games it invalidates the next lap if you run off the track in the sector prior to starting your flying lap because you can gain a massive advantage on the start straight. He definitely didn't do this on purpose and he didn't gain by hitting the gravel, but it feels like that should be a black and white rule that you've got to keep it in the lines for the last sector/microsector/corner before a flying lap. Surprised it wasn't.
Do I smell the Ricciardonnaissance in the air? Mark my words, from now on he'll be 2.5s clear of Tsunoda in every session.

No. Next question.
Doubt it. Think it's meant to be dry tomorrow so I wouldn't be surprised to see Verstappen in 2nd or 3rd place by the first corner and then in the lead by the end of lap 2 or 3, depending on where he is at the end of the first lap given that DRS is active from that point.
Haven't you heard, it's Russell now.But I thought Hamilton was supposed to be washed??
That was a fun sprint qualifying, hopefully there's more rain tomorrow!
No. Either competition or his own brain fades will prevent it.
That's why he did so well in the wet. CSIyeah.jif
Literally washed. :D
Lots of heavy rain expected overnight too. Hopefully challenging conditions even if its dry.You forget just how popular Lewis is until a decision goes against him on track. Kinda crazy going the FIA conspiracy nuts come out in force again.
The FIA website says there's an 80% of a wet track for the Sprint tomorrow so it could be absolute carnage, Williams need to get the bubblewrap out. I feel like a pile-up into Turn 1 is almost inevitable if it's anything like SQ3.
Obviously the stewards couldn't take Sir Lewis getting a pole position so someone quickly edited the race director notes to allow Lando to CHEAT his way to the topYou forget just how popular Lewis is until a decision goes against him on track. Oh they're back alright! Back to being the 4th quickest team on the grid tomorrow if it doesn't rain.If I'd checked it were a sprint I would have avoided the result. Anyway, thought Mercedes were back but it looks like it rained.
Didn't mean for my post to seem like a sly dig. I saw the result much earlier in the day, so no need to spoiler it for me 😄Drop Norris down to Piastri level and IMHO this is a pretty good ranking of current drivers:-

Ah no worries at all, tbh I hadn't thought about spoilers at all so it was a useful reminder!👍 (I can't remember what the rules on spoilers is in the thread 😀🫣)Didn't mean for my post to seem like a sly dig. I saw the result much earlier in the day, so no need to spoiler it for me 😄
oh please Lando was trying to go faster around the outside than he had any business going considering the green track and cold tires. He slid out of the track all by himself.Ah the classic Lewis just run them wide move. Of course within the rules but pure shithousery.
