This was a question mark situation for the halo. It simultaneously looks like it's helping protect on impact but adding danger on escape.
Looks like only the roll cage hit the tarmac
I thought I saw a little scuffing on it, but its hard to read what the angle would have been.
I'm surprised there's not some kind of emergency pop-off on the halo, with a compressed air charge or something like a fighter jet cockpit. That would sort of cover this situation. Actually, just add a fighter jet-style canopy on these. They'd look awesome. If anything the halo prevented Hulk to get out of the car. I still think it's safer with the halo because the only time when u need to get out of the car quickly is when it's on fire but marshalls with fire extinguishers are everywhere and put out that fire in 4 seconds.
Then they probably wouldn't survive the crash tests nor be light enough for racing.I'm surprised there's not some kind of emergency pop-off on the halo, with a compressed air charge or something like a fighter jet cockpit. Fair enough. They should be subject to the same standards the halo itself is, which are very high tolerances. Then they probably wouldn't survive the crash tests nor be light enough for racing.
That's been a mystery ailment with the Ferrari all year.
Is Danny's plan to stay out until the rain...
Death, taxes, Ferrari fucking up pit-stops, etc.
Well, it's raining, but not to the point of actually affecting the track.
He's still a net 6th, providing everyone 1 stops.
