McLaren hasn't had a good track record at producing race winning or podium-worthy chassis at the start of a new era of regulations (see 2009, 2014, 2017).
The new look McLaren with Seidl and Key at the helm could be about to change that though.

I don't know why people here are arguing so strongly for Vettel retiring at the end of next year or whatever. The only decent driver we've seen retire from even a semi-competitive position is Rosberg, it's not a common thing.

There are many clever innovations in F1 that operate in 'murky' areas of the rules, but that one was just so blatant. As much as I hate to say it, I'm with Eddie Jordan on that one!

Plenty of drivers have retired at the top of their game, or at least nearer to it than Seb currently is.
Great news! That's on my bucket list of races to see live, so now I have more time haha.
Good news, although I still really dislike the 2010-2011 changes they've made to the track. It is, however, one of the few tracks on the calendar that can offer spectacular races even without excessive DRS or tyre fuckery, and its historic presence is undeniable.
Tbh Schumacher got pushed out and clearly didn't want to retire. Hakkinen is the only other person in the last couple of decades that I would say fits the bill.

Almost definitely. There was some reporting I kinda remember from a while back that loosely tied them to a Croatian gangster but I don't know if anything more concrete has come out since.
They're certainly not a fucking energy drink company, that much is obvious.
So pretty much they were sponsored by dirty money. I can only imagine how many times this has happened.
