Conmebol vs Uefa might not be a thing but in south american countries people usually or sometimes support latin teams before supporting europeans. In particular, football journalists in Peru have said that they remember screaming the colombian goal to Germany back in Italy 1990 like it was a peruvian goal. Maybe things are different in Brasil but theres a lot of respect between Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina and others.

To the posts on the other thread.

I have been to most places in Europe. Poland and Romania by far the worse for racism. Not the passive racism you usually get. It's the aggressive in your face racism sadly. Been targetted by Polish people as well just for being black

(Again yes I know it isn't the whole country)

Could have waited for the last first round game before OT2.
I got that idea from reading this thread and the previous WC threads from GAF ever since 2006, in which European users are the ones to keep bringing up Europe x South America stuff over and over and over again despite the fact that they're the only ones who identify with their continent in this sport. It may not be the case for you, but the ones who are trying to will this UEFA x CONMEBOL thing into relevance are all European.
