The same happened with Skullgirls and it turned out pretty well for the studio.
The art is what I hate the most about Skullgirls.Skullgirls had years of buzz- it was mentioned on SRK first in the mid-2000's , came in just ahead of most of the big name titles that year, and had most of its fanbase be non-FGC due to the awesome art.
lol this game most have the lowest budgetThey won't be able to do another beta so they will give a version to Jiyuna to take along when he travels to tournaments.
So if you want to try the game before release then hunt down Jiyuna lol.
Wanna hear a tale filled with woe?
Back in the 90's I sold my SNES with a robust library of games to buy a VB for which I accumulated a robust library of games only to trade it for a Jaguar that had no games.
It's the dumbest fucking gaming-related thing I've ever done in my life.
Look upon my foolishness Era, and despair.
It used to be full 3D with side steps and the shape of stages actually mattered:
Arika just uploaded 60fps footage of Blair, Jack, and Shadowgeist.

Two new tweets by Mihara that apparently show parts of the two remaining character's names hidden by emojis.
One character's name ends in NE and the other seemingly starts or includes SA. Any guesses?
that looks like it's the same photo twice? so I guess it's a single character that starts with SA and ends with NE
You're probably right but I got hyped when I saw "SA" because my first thought was Sakura.
