Yes, at least one. The only thing that's confirmed is Edward's MND/magic holy chain on banner 3 together with Elara USB2, P.Cecil USB3? and Celes ASB.

JP also got Ramza's holy chain, Red XIII earth chain, and Gilgamesh's Fire chain. Though our banners are completely different from JPs because they swapped everything around.

Only confirmed one, since it's new, is Edward (Magic Holy chain 2.0).

Ramza, Red XIII, Gilgamesh, and Prompto chains were in the JPN fest, but we don't know if they'll appear in our own.

Really was hoping for an ice chain (futile, I know) and did pulls on XIII and VIII and got nothing but dupes. Lightning LMR2 and Quistis BSB.

Ice banner isn't worth it for chain, IMO. Snow chain is basically the worst chain overall, because the chain itself is meh (gives 2000 HP Stock) and Snow is a terrible character otherwise unless you have his good relics.

Locke also has a terrible chain but Locke is a better character overall if you don't have his good stuff.

Emotionally I feel the need to pull, but rationally I know I should wait.

That being said, no ice chain means I'm not really going to try the new wind torment. No thanks.

I believe Laguna's returns in the 2nd banner of the next FF8 event. I think the event drops end of Jan so the banner should be at the start of Feb.

I think the next VIII event will have Laguna's Chain, and it will be around the end of January

And then Serah's Chain mid-February

IIRC be aware that the first banner is mostly New Fire Squall Tech (AOSB, BUSB, LMR and even BSB2 but Fire!). I think it's the second banner which has Ice Tech.

FFVIII - Rinoa LMR1... literally OOF. This is the only LMR out of her four that I already had.
FFVII - Cloud USB2, which would be awesome were it not a dupe. Least it's Wind+.

2/3 : Got Locke Glint and USB. On one hand I'm happy about the pull (2 relics for the same character, what were the odds?) but on the other hand... fire again? It feels like 2/3 of my relics are fire based (and physical for that matter even though my chain is magic :/ )

Whoa. Pulled a 6* on the daily today - Kain USB1

So on the one hand, I really wanted this for Kain. I have his CSB and Ignis BSSB, which means I can now run that busted Kain setup. And it's my first Lightning+ weapon (of any kind). So great get, definitely.

On the other hand, I've sub-30'd Famfrit (albeit with RNG; maybe this will make it more consistent) and don't need any more. BUT I still haven't done FFIV D??? Torment, so this is definitely a major boost there. Should definitely be able to hit 50%, if nothing else.

This is only my second disco since this started, with the last one being 87 days ago. Oddly enough, both of them have been lightning USBs (Shantotto/Kain).Lightning USBs on chain holders, no less (though I only have Kain CSB). Weird coincidence.

Question about orb farming: I still need a ton of Major orbs so I naively run the major orb dungeons for farming. Would it be more efficient to only farm crystals and convert them to major orbs as needed? Seems like running out of money could be a thing though?
