NOte that a) Squall AASB doesn't come out until June Fest and b) you'll still need proper support (most importantly, gen 2 chains) to maximize AASB damage.
Hmm. While going through my inventory, I just noticed something: Ten of the last dozen or so USBs I've collected in the past three weeks, for characters who have multiple ones, I've only gotten their USB1, most of which are quite old.
Another question (yes I have a lot of those :p ).
Currently I have these LM on Bartz:
Tempered Spellblade : Increase spellblade ability damage a small amount
Twinstrike Champion : Moderate chance for spellblade abilities to trigger twice.
Fragments of Grace : Very small chance for spellblade abilities to trigger three times.
Using Twinstrike Champion seems pretty obvious but I can't really decide which of the other two I should use. One looks better for consistent damage output but the other could really shine with a few lucky rolls. Is there any number somewhere from somebody who did the math to decide which is better?
Increase X damage LMRs are 10% more damage, and his triplecast is 10% chance to trigger.Another question (yes I have a lot of those :p ).

The way wcast element LMs work in JP have been changed so that it now triggers individually per element.
Right now, people in JP are having a blast triplecasting with Raines BSB CMD1 as his LMR triggers on both the Dark and Light element of the command separately.
A change for the better, as several characters are now specialising in multiple elements.
... And Kimahri got an Awakening and an Arcane.. But his Arcane is a suicide move
Just.. Why?

It's also instant cast. So yeah, there need to be a draw back. It sucks if he's your last standing character but otherwise Arcanes are finishers and it shouldn't matter.
Still haven't used any of my Fest Tickets.
Plz daily, give me something worthwhile (I got Zeid's BSB today, I forgot he was even a thing).
FFRK forgets that FFXI is a thing and it makes me sad since XI is one of my favorite games.
Just started working through my 40+ today now that I have some more 5* magicites to level up with them.Still haven't used any of my Fest Tickets.

Wind is up as well, but haven't even attempted any in there. I am super lazy with the magicites as well. Just kind of waiting around to spend some myth for items and give me some more drive.I honestly haven't touched the Magicites button in like 4 weeks. Don't even know what's in the Ice Magicite. Do we have Wind as well already?
4A, save me pls
I'd love to learn more about XI and XIV as I don't play MMO's anymore, so RK is my biggest exposure to them and their stories.
I could just google them, but it's fun to play with the characters and do battles with them vs their bosses.
Plus Ayame remains the only EnIce Samurai in the game. At least there is Firion now as the omni-Samurai.
XI legitimately has one of the best stories in the series. So many epic things happen and lots of little side quests that really flesh out the world if you're paying attention. I really hope that they will release a single player version of it eventually, but sadly I don't think it will happen.
XV is pretty good as well, but I only played that through the 2.0 relaunch. Life happened and couldn't devote any time to the expansions though I generally hear good things about them.

I did hear that XI is now playable solo? I read somewhere (who knows where) that Squeenix have given you NPC companions so you can basically play all the raids and stuff by yourself now?
Same here. I quit at the end of 2017, though I'd like to go back and check in on things on Siren if they ever have another Return to Vana'diel thing. I really do not understand why DeNA hasn't made more content for it; they've barely touched a tiny fraction of the things they could for FFXI. Surely it was popular enough in Japan and abroad, right?
Yeah, Alter Egos or Trusts are like summonable pets. Honestly, they played better than a lot of other players I encountered, haha. With iLevel gear and some knowledge, you can easily breeze through the storylines for anything pre-SoA expansion. Though even that and RoV can be solo'd with some skill.

Struggling to complete events these days. Real life complications means I lack the focus required of upper end battles. Is this the end of me?
I quit shortly before Adoulin when Voidwatch was the main thing, so the companion at the time was only mildly useful. If it's been significantly improved then the bolded isn't surprising since XI is from the Old School Hardcore unforgiving mmo era. So many missions screwed up because one person didn't know what they were doing.
Pulled Cinque's USB from my 100 gem on B2 which I've wanted forever. Very very happy. I'll be motivated to try Quetz again when I get home.
Heh, well that was more of a dig at the random players I'd come across in PUGs than anything else. =P But yeah, later Trusts are vastly superior to the early ones. With a good setup, you can solo not only most VW NMs, but even some from the final add-on's endgame area.
Nice pull! Think that pretty much makes her an insta-dive, right? I'm in a similar situation with Quetzalcoatl; having zero SBs for any Stone Press-capable character is making me wary of even trying him. There's Bartz's OSB (and USB2 finisher, I guess), but I dunno how feasible it is to constantly try to have that ready to go for Savage mode.
On the topic of Magicite, are they subject to the damage reduction thing like the party is? Like is Quetz's damage reduced against Famfrit and you have to use Behemoth King or what?
