She looks great, but oddly rail thin in that fourth screenshot of combat. Like a mix of bad timing in the shot, bad design, and just kinda creepy proportion wise. Wonder if its just the screeny there cause shes looking alien like imo lol.

The physique is good. For some reason FF games give their female leads noodle legs. Her top always looked ragged, Remake is an improvement in that dept.I still prefer this version made by the Riot artist.
It seems that the older I get, the more salt flows throw my blood system because I thought Tifa looked just fucking horrible.
The face is my main issue which looks too doll like (she looks a bit stoned in this shot):
I also dislike her softer facial features and the hair looks rough.
For me that was the perfect reference and I'm infinitely disappointed how they missed it by a mile:

The drafting skill here is good, but the actually choices made in terms of character depiction and art style just don't fit Tifa. That so many people love it makes me wonder what they like about her.
I am so relieved by Tifa's design! God, I've been so anxious about it for ages that it was gonna be hyper sexualized and ruin the experience for me, but... it's actually pretty tasteful!
I'm not sure how I feel about the thigh highs, and I think I would have preferred a skirt with a slit (like a more classic skort look) than pleated, but I'm soooo glad they gave her shorts! And her boobs are big but aren't in boob socks and I like the double layer look.

This is the best iteration of her so far. I appreciate SE's decision to not sexualize her even more than before.

That said, recently I have been wondering if, given the history of sexual objectification within the medium, bigger breasts on serious characters are considered taboo by the devs because of how distorted our lens of perspective has been shaped into.
