Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD out on Switch & Xbox One April 16th.

Start the fiscal year with ports that will sell all year long.
Damn, gonna be a long wait for the good ones if this is the first of the Final Fantasy titles to hit Switch.
It's April 16 per Square press releases. Both NA and EU.

FF12 launches literally two weeks later so I doubt they'll be spacing them out very much...
I'll get it... when it drops in price (or maybe I'll just buy FFX digitally if that's an option).

30th is a Wednesday and so is the 16th so I wonder if Gonintendo made a typo.
Because my bust season ends in early April and the universe wants me to play them for the 3856th time.
Games can release on Wednesday.
It is just that all Nintendo games launch worlwide on a Friday.
Would have liked a little sooner but oh well. Really looking forward to playing these on Switch.
Three Final Fantasy games in the span of two weeks. Talk about giving people the time to play 'em.

FF fans will likely buy only one of the two due to the eternal debates about which one is better, and how long they last.

Yeah, especially with XII coming out two weeks later, which arguably is the better game (?). Never played either of them and would like to pick one up, but perhaps I could have been attracted to both of the games if they were spaced out more.
Only X|X-2 and XII are getting a physical release.
All the other ones are digital only.

Also, Nintendo isn't publishing this and it's also coming X1 same day so the date makes sense. It's not really one of their games so Friday wouldn't make sense. Still though, some publishers go for Friday too, like Sony sometimes. I believe GoW came out on a Friday.
Oh I know I'm saying the 30th is a Wednesday but the 17th is a Thursday so the 16th made more sense to me.
You would think they would release them in the correct order, ff7 and ff9 first then ffx and ffxii
I think they will... and I think they will be a shadowdrop for next direct.. I am still a January believer ;P
I have it on all those except iOS. Mist have finished it over 20 times, and I'll be getting the switch version. No fucks given, the game's good enough to deserve all the sales.
