What does this have with the direct? This isn't an exclusive game. Xbox is also getting it.
It's still possible these release dates wouldn't have fit in a Direct, so they're announced beforehand. Would imply Nintendo wants to announce or detail new games in the Direct rather than ports.
Darks Souls remastered wasn't an exclusive game either...Do you know how Directs work?

I'm team no direct this month they keep sharing way too many release dates and announcements.

But people really need to stop talking about 'this' Nintendo Direct. 'This' Nintendo Direct is nothing but rumors and speculation with zero actual basis other than 'it happened many times in January, but also sometimes not'.
How did confusion between dating systems from "4/30" lead to "April 4th"? There's no 30th month, usually once you get past the first 12 days of a month it becomes clear which system you're dealing with.
