I still don't even know how to find him. I got the cutscene of him showing up at Lestallum, but nothing has happened since.
Go to the Power Station, he'll bet on the left.

I really didn't like how:
after you fight Gladio he just disappears and there's not even a cutscene or something. It just feels half-baked and incredibly annoying that they continue to do stuff like this.
They will all spawn there. That was over quickly. Thanks for the tip! I don't know why the ? didn't show up on my map until I was right next to him.
just a quick question guys, how's the story in this DLC, any good?

About the ending:
Did I miss something, or was your avatar supposed to be one of the glaives who betrayed everyone in the movie? Is that what Bahamut meant with sins and stuff? And holy jeez, according to this, Noctis just takes the boat and leaves everyone behind on the island with no way out. What the hell? Lol.

Loading Screen #1: 1:27
Pointless campsite screen (where you pick the pointless food to resurrect yourself and then confirm you're ready in front of the barrel): 33 seconds
Loading screen #2: 10 seconds
Battle: 1:13
End of battle (Where you stand around doing nothing while the AI runs around and swaps one pointless food for another): 23 seconds
Pointless Loading Screen #3: 25 seconds
Campsite: 42 seconds
Last Loading Screen: 1:08
Total Time: 6 minutes, 1 second.
Total Time actually playing the fucking game: 1 minute, 13 seconds.
Died several times, but there wa a lot of food lying around from previously killed monsters, so I managed to survive long enough. Got pretty tense and fun, heh.Man, the mission with 2 bandersnatch is really tough, they 1 hit me when I'm at lvl 17. Some mobs are just overpowered.
Damn, seeing it in numbers makes it even crazier :DNot only that:when he magically returns, Talcott is 10 years older despite being his normal age just before the ship landed on Angelgard.
Also I found this post in pstrophy forum:

They REALLY need to patch this garbage out. I think on vanilla PS4 is even worse.

So, you have to keep running the same quests over and over to get enough power? Kind of a turn off to do the first one 3x now.
It's still unnecessary. You can change your equipment in the city before accepting a mission. Most people just run to get food and then get ready to go. This whole section could be skipped easily.I feel like they could've illustrated a valid point without using the extreme low-end of battle times. Also the pre-match campground isn't much of a wait for the only semblance of a social space in the game. Plus it gives players an opportunity to change gear or AFK if need be instead of doing it during fights. The post match stuff should definitely be streamlined and/or skippable .
It was probably just timing. So the matchmaking is based on level and not mission? I put a lvl 1 char and seek for party in a lvl 20 mission and I find nothing, switch to a lvl 20 dude and get party instantly.
Not that I need it much, weapons seems to do more than levels, I'm easily doing +lvl20 missions.

My character is currently lv30 and I just did a mission with some lv5s and 8s.

This Pylon of Light mission is so frustrating. I've done several missions higher level than this one but this one always seems to crap itself out once I've killed about 49 out of 50 and then the structure is broken. Having to wait forty-five minutes for it to load isn't helpful either.

Iris says something if you talk to her afterwards, but yeah that's about it.
It's mindless fun, unlocking nodes and upgrading weapons is addicting, don't expect much story though if you're into that. What's the consensus on this so far? I love the combat system updates in this and I'm thinking of getting it soon.

It's okay. Get ready to play it with your phone next to you or while listening to a podcast, because there's a lot of down time between actually playing the game. What's the consensus on this so far? I love the combat system updates in this and I'm thinking of getting it soon.

Just like the main game, it's a lot of good burried by even more jank. Granted, the exact flavours of good and jank are different, which is why some people that didn't enjoy the main game can get into this, but generally, the same kind of heavily flawed gem situation. What's the consensus on this so far? I'm struggling to understand how you could think this, unless you were solely a spear user and can't get used to its auto-warping. I'm finding the combat much more involved in Comrades, but probably the biggest improvement for me is that the weapons feel much more distinct from each other. In the main game I found using regular swords, polearms or daggers made little difference, whereas I find I actually use my katana and spear for very different purpose. And both crossbows and shurikens being a whole class and not limited to royal arms is great because I think they are both way more fun to use than the guns. And I much prefer bubble shield blocking to the phase shifting blocking, it just feels more impactful.
I do feel like the combat feels a little better here than it did in the main game. Something about the weapons just feels a bit more satisfying.
