Holy shit, W!Cecilia as the TT unit! Armored (probably) Dagger.... I've been saving that free 4 star Takumi and it looks like I've found where to use it.

Armored healer.... not that big a deal..... Cav/Flier will be preferred for Aether Raids and even in arena a C Duel Infantry unit like Loki will still score higher.

Fae... 180BST Fae... I already have a 180BST +10 Green unit so not that interested outside of getting 1 copy.... but this does allow someone to have on Earth Season a 4x180BST lineup.... if Fae as a bonus unit lines up with that.

Attack Opening is nice but compared to last year that introduced Bold/Vengeful Fighter and the Brazen skills.... Fighter skills where meta changes....

This banner is more on the "Would be nice if I can get 1 of each, but that's all and not too bothered if I miss on anyone".

I don't have Winter Lissa, I have a -atk W!Chrom and he's still a beast in Arena Assault... I would probably like to get Lissa and get a better IV for Chrom over pulling on this new banner.

And darn! Was really hoping Eirika would be able to take CYL3 but now with her new alt, I'm not so sure now.

Yeah she's got no chance now.... I would say L!Eirika gave her not much of a chance... but W!Eirika is the nail in the coffin.

She would've been 2nd to Celica if her first alt didn't come out during CYL2 voting.....

Kinda hard to predict the female side of CYL3.... whereas the male side is going to be a Marth, Alm, Reinhardt, Chrom, Robin (Levin sword pls) fight.

A lot of the higher placed ladies of CYL2 have received alts since then....

Don't really need another blue armor and Ephraim's solo style of gameplay doesn't seem to lend itself too well to how armors usually prefer to play (in a tight formation for armor march and buffs). Similarly not in need of a green armor. I'll give Eirika a few shots just for the novelty of an armored healer, hopefully we get tickets for the banner.

A Seasonal Eirika is the top of my most wanted list, and I was slightly worried they'd skip over her after getting a her 2 other alts.

I don't like though what they are doing with Ephraim, like they did with Hector. Multiple alts with the "same" weapon because they are too cool to play along with seasonal stuff. At least Ephraim is all different unit types for all 4 versions, unlike hector having 3 armored axe versions

Fae looks like she's going to be an enemy-phase beast. Could get up to +11 DEF/RES in bonuses alone.
Ephraim looks kind of cool but his positioning will be kind of weird. He's probably going to get a bunch of attack so Eirika can triple boost him.
Eirika's buffs are kind of neat. Reminds me of MCorrin a little, since she is so attached to one unit. Would be kind of fun to make a team with identical attack stats and watch her triple-buff everyone.

Not really that interested in physical armors anymore, was hoping for more ranged armor units, like bows or something. Nice we get a dagger, though.

Colorless units are so good when they have a lot of stats behind them, watch the next Aether Raids bonus character list, if F!Grima is on it (because lol Gunnthra) with Eir they'll be a problem.

I'm expecting next rotations bonus units to be....

Will be the later if Eir is to Aether Raid bonus rotations like Fjorm is to Arena. And if that's the case Fjorm will be in the legendary hero rotation slot that for some reason doesn't include Gunnthra because she's never been a bonus unit for anything.

It's good that Aether Raids bonus characters are predictable so far....

Next set after next will have Camus, Legion, 3-4 NY characters, TT unit, legendary, L!Lyn, Alfonse/Sharena

No, we're still getting 3 seals as per normal, these two seals they mentioned are the big presents of this TT.... lots of big presents in this TT.

3rd seal will probably be one of those dance buff seals worst case, something good best case.

You're probably more apt to build a successful stall team in AR, slap Miracle+Wary and your opponent may run out of turns near the end.

While perhaps not in arena, there are those grand conquest-variant defence quests where you don't need to move around that much, and also armour-only quests. Defence teams looking to run down the clock on aether raids might get something out of it too. Considering there are 300+ units at this point I don't mind some of them being highly specialised or only really useful in some modes.

3812 easy clap Arena rerun, don't think I'll ever score higher than this again.... there's no way I'll ever have a higher scoring bonus unit than a plus ten Surtr.... and it's only 688 out of 1433 in Tier 21...

Arrgh too many units to get in the next few weeks.... really want to get W!Lissa since I missed out last Christmas and when she was rerun on the legendary banner... missed out on NY!Azura both times as well....

As for the newer units I guess I can wait for them to rerun in legendary banners... but that's not guarantee...

If you've already adapted for the current meta + Surtr I really don't see the new Winter units causing many problems....

W!Eirika's weapon and c-skill would be a lot more scary on H!Mia..... 100%. That amazing support combined with Mia's mobility.... damn.

I think a tanky healer has value, especially because armor units like to huddle together for various buffs anyway.

Putting an armored healer with a ball of other armored units will make them that much harder to crack when they all walk towards you at once.

I get that, but I FEH she is a F2P queen. So many people have a +10 Fae for Arena with budget skills. You have to remember that many players haven't played every Fire Emblem game or any at all. Plus, she is a fluffy chicken.

Tickets only work on a particular banner and expire when it ends. These tickets are only good on the Hero Fest one. So on one hand you don't get to pick what banner you use them on but on the other hand we got 35 orbs' worth of pulls for free, so I'm not going to complain.

Keeping Owain as fodder, but wondering if I should merge Eir with the freebie or keep her for Mystic Boost fodder. Not entirely sure about who to give the latter to though. Possibly would work with Felicia given her Prf weapon, but not sure I want to commit to that. Anyone running/seen any interesting builds?

The rest are all great units, each with incredible skills to pawn off if you don't want to use them too. Lewyn in particular has 3 of the most useful skills in the game on him.

You don't really need Armor March if you just stick together and stack Ward Armor. My main armor team does not run Armor March (in part because I don't have access to it outside of B!Ephraim, who is not on the team) and it does more than fine. Dazzling Staff is in part so good because most healers are fragile enough that they would die from a single hit; W!Eirika likely won't have that fragility problem thanks to Armor BST and Ward Armor stacking. Wrathful Absorb, Miracle, Close Counter, Vengeful Fighter (or Special Fighter if she has the speed), and Ward Armor stacking would make her hard to take down due to armor bulk, high uptime on Miracle, and self-healing from Absorb.

This is assuming that she has good mixed bulk and not some awkward statline that dumps either or both defensive stats. Her stat distribution could make or break her.

I'm also not going to rule out that IS may just block access to Fighter skills for staff units in the accompanying update, which would limit her potential significantly.

She could be great, she could be meh; we'll see tomorrow.

Ophelia is an incredibly powerful player phase nuke. Pair her with a dancer and she'll dismantle entire teams. She has good fodder in Rally Up Atk+ (exclusive to her) and Chill Res 3 (otherwise only found on Spring Catria, a seasonal unit).

Lewyn is an amazing speedy green mage with his preference weapon allowing him to double foes before they get to counter. He has premium fodder in Swift Sparrow 2, Special Spiral 3 (exclusive to him, and coincidentally an amazing skill to inherit to Ophelia), and Odd Atk Wave 3.

Owain is a good unit too, but faces heavy competition from the saturated pool of red sword units. He has good fodder in Blue Flame (exclusive to him) and Wrath 3.

Ended up just outside Top 10K for Aether Raids this season. Was bummed I couldn't get inside Top 10K... I feel like my units don't have all the units/skills/merges where I am going to hit my upper limit in the mode pretty soon and not be able to be up there later. Even if not, permanently floating in the same tier will at least be a decent income of grails.

Popular characters at launch keep getting alts (Hector, Lucina, Lyn, Camilla, etc). They're at the top. After that, you have Fateswakening, and then characters who weren't too popular, but strong units. At the very bottom you have units like Cecilia who aren't all that popular outside of her niche build.

I doubt "horny" character sell so well as some believe. Anyway it is funny that xmas fae that has no sexualization is bad but somehow cecilia is nice

Actually, from numbers alone, they tend to sell extremely well (hence why they keep making them). And ahhh, you got me. It's not like I genuinely like Cecilia for her multifaceted personality and underrated utility in FE6 and dislike for being a generic, boring little girl dragon who yet again fills the "stupid high BST armor dragon" category.
