I know nothing about the Witcher aside from watching someone play a little bit of it but this doesn't look HORRIBLE as far as costuming and stuff, I suppose.

The costumes look really good, but I have such a hard time with Geralt because when i look at his face all I see is Henry Cavil which makes me think of Superman. I can't see him as Geralt still, maybe that will change when we see him in action though.

Ah, OK. That makes sense. My only exposure is the game series, and just The Witcher III at that.

I think it still holds though. My only point of reference is the game series and that looks okay to me compared to what I've seen.

Geralt in books generally did not carry both swords; silver one was on his horse, used for special occasions.
Of course in games where density of monster combat is much higher, it would have been annoying to have to take it from the horse all the time.
