Didn't know this was a thing and judging by the cover art I will let this pass still not knowing
Just like the original Doctor Dolittle, which infamously blew over budget with a difficult film shoot, then bombed on release.
If folks don't see the instant appeal of Downey cracking wise and quipping with equally sarcastic talking animals, I don't know what to tell ya.
Maybe he likes the people attached to the movie and finds it enjoyable. Or he may have contracts to fulfill.

Sure, but "$200 million production budget" appeal? Anyway, I think the January release and the trailer's releasing this late shows how confident Universal is in this movie (not very).
I was hoping he'd go back to being in stuff like Zodiac and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang after his Marvel time.
