i just watched the ep... 90% of those cakes just didn’t look edible? like it was more about the effects? why is this a cake competition and not a model competition? also that Chikorita absolutely looked dreadful

I hope the Mudkip won. Who doesn't like water shooting action?

That Chikorita is begging for death, by the way. The poor thing.

Go look up old food network challenge cakes. They used to actually look great and the show was a lot more interesting than whatever this is they brought back. I watched one episode of this new one where everyone just used rice krispies and fondant. The "cakes" all melted in the first round and then they all did the same thing for the 2nd and guess what happened again?

I always wonder, does these cakes actually taste good. Folks spend hours sometimes days just fiddling with them, they got to be dry as hell

I don't like being mean here. But I'm laughing so hard after seeing Chikorita. Reminds me of the Warioware Gold paintings.

Would definitely vote for Sobble.

It's apparently just me, but I can't help but notice the yellow thing probing poor Pika here. No wonder he isn't happy.

Wasn’t fondant invented in France? This isn’t an American thing lol.
Yeah that may be an unfair generalization on my part. I live in britain and ive had almost no run ins with fondant here, everyone just uses regular icing.

But when i went to the states every slice of cake i had was smothered in the stuff, it was bloody awful.

I will say you’re not wrong in that it is very prevalent in America for sure, I have been lucky in that the bakeries and cake shops I go to around where I’m from don’t rely on fondant very much.

What have they done to my poor baby Chikorita Jesus

i guess almost all the contestants were Water stans
Holy fuck at Chikorita.

Chikorita, tell me what's wrong
You're enchained by your own sorrow
In your eyes there is no hope for tomorrow
How I hate to see you like this
There is no way you can deny it
I can see that you're oh so sad, so quiet

That Chikorita looks like it's having a BAD time.
Chikorita went beyond fainting

Chikorita looks like it was wheeled in from the Nailed It set
That Pikachu is so angry and Chikorita looks like it wants to die 😂
...Did everyone forget that Bayleef exists? Like, I know it's basically melting and wishing for death, but that's clearly Bayleef lol.
