And Dortmund bench players could probably easily start for this Chelsea team. The fee is no big deal cause other teams had interest and chelsea went for it before having to deal with them being involved.
Also if he was just a bench player as you make it seem Dortmund wouldn't have wanted the loan back. He still has a role with them and gets game time.
Also stepping into a team after a mess of a year may not be a bad thing if they sort things out. If they are a mess next year he may be thinking I should have joined a different club but the pressure won't be solely on him if they are disorganized from a club standpoint.

Pulisic isn't shit and is nowhere near living up to his potential. Had 1 great year and has been getting hyped off that because he's American. This was a highwey robbery of the highest order, and Chelsea got punked into the deal. If they use that 64m this summer to buy someone like Werner for 70m whose 2 years older and far, far better in every single aspect, they will have done quite the coupe. Esp since Werner can pretty much play 3 different positions in their system.
