For people who want to boycott THQNordic and Deep Silver, here are the list of games they are publishing

ResetERA admins decided to allow THQNordic's games discussions to continue. I respect that decision but I can't bring myself to give even a single dollar to that company. Especially after today's events.

For the uninitiated, THQNordic decided to do an ama session on a known cp lover / right-wing extremist hell hole website called "8chan" acted like they belong in there with their disgusting replies to homophobic/hateful questions, posted a limp-ass apology on Twitter after mainstream press caught up with it, and swept the whole thing under the rug like it was nothing.

After what happened in New Zealand today and how right-wing terrorist use 8chan as their gathering place and how THQNordic didn't even fire the cunt who decided that was the platform this publisher should use to promote their games, I decided to boycott THQNordic and their subsidiary Deep Silver's upcoming games until a shake-up happens at the Swedish company.

Here is the list of games that you might want to consider not supporting. It is, of course, your personal choice to boycott these games.

HOW TO IGNORE THQ AND DEEP SILVER'S GAMES:

Just go to their publisher page, click the little gear icon and click 'Ignore this creator'.

It doesn't hide all their games from the store completely, but every time one appears Steam will tell you that you've ignored this publisher. By repeating the above process you can undo this, should they ever clean up their act and make amends for this.

Yep, Darksiders 3 will be my last game. Here's hoping Airship Syndicate works with Annapurna as their next publisher because I'm definitely not getting anything else from this company for the rest of my days.

If nothing else I guess people's criticism of a lacking AA market will be justified as one of the biggest AA publishers are now officially terrorism apologists

I wasn't going to buy any of those games anyways so it's not exactly a boycott, but I support anyone who avoids them.

Should be pretty easy to do seeing as most of the games on that list, aside from Shenmue III, I could give two shits about anyway.

The consumer audience isn't punishing the developers, the publisher is punishing developers for choosing to associate with terrorism apologists

Never backed a game and requested a refund post funding before (mostly because I never had a reason to), so knowing that is all new to me

I'm presently boycotting all games that THQ Nordic and Deep Silver publish on Steam. I am also tentatively boycotting certain Microsoft games on Steam on the grounds that THQ Nordic was apparently involved in bringing those games to Steam in some capacity and published the retail versions of those ports.

THQ Nordic are also set to publish Obsidian's Pillars of Eternity II once it hits consoles... whenever that happens. It should probably be added to the list in the OP.

Those all are pretty uninteresting titles apart from Shenmue 3, so this is easily done.

That being said...Shenmue's getting bought. It just is, but yeah fuck THQ and Deep Silver in general.

It's worth nothing that Deep Silver is also involved in publishing Atlus titles in Europe. I know they also handled some Sega stuff as recently as Yakuza 6 but I'm not sure if that's still the case.

Also note that Origin Access and Gamepass have THQN games on them so I cancelled my subs until they remove them.

No dev needs to be punished but the people that participated in that fateful AMA need to go.
No dev is going to suffer because they do not get my money but i do not think any one of those devs wants to have any sort of business or personal relation with people that offered NAZIS, MURDERERS and PEDOPHILES a platform.

Thanks for rounding their upcoming games up, OP.

I will be boycotting all THQ Nordic games until they make a meaningful condemnation of 8chan and everything it represents, as well as proving that THQ Nordic is taking steps to ensure it will never happen again. Words are not enough... so I hope this small action can help to change their ways.

Really wanted Biomutant and Generation Zero but I can't bring myself to support THQ after all of this. I really feel for the devs and hope some of them start to speak out about this.

Might as well quit gaming if you're from Europe. They distribute games of a lot of other publishers. Only the biggest companies, such as EA, Sony and Nintendo, distribute their games themselves.

I'm a huuuge Shenmue fan but I was already thinking of skipping 3 and just reading how it ends, to not ruin the magic. It looks awful to me in the previews, those visuals and animations blew my mind back then but they look awkward modernized like that now.

But Desperados 3 by the Shadow Tactics devs... damn :/

I've seen it said in other threads and it's important to say here - consumers boycotting THQ Nordic isn't punishing the developers, THQ Nordic is punishing their developers.
