DeviantArt has a feature? that allows you to change the thing you uploaded, leaving the original date and no indications of 'it was edited in -'
By looking at the fotoforensics metadata you can see the picture was uploaded last March, which could imply the artist used the feature to;
1 - Update with a watermark, after the incident
or
2 - To fabricate the whole thing
