try singleplayer games? Don't be afraid of being "left out". Let me tell you something. Back in my final year in high school (2012), I made a new group of friends with whom I played LoL. We rose from nothing to level 30 It was a blast. I am a singleplayer guy so playing a multiplayer game for so long was rare, only few exceptions like Halo and Gears, but I never played them solo, I would only play them with friends. Anyways, we played and it was great.
We would hang out on weekends, then at night we would play LoL- we didn't let it get in the way of our studies so we only played Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends. Then it turned into a daily thing. And in the blink of an eye, we were in college and still playing it. But I hated it. I hated LoL with a burning passion. I wasn't having fun, some of my friends still play it to date, almost daily too, the rest have moved to Fortnite. But in 2014 I just said "okay, that's enough. I'm fucking done with this game" and I uninstalled. I did hang out with my friends less but I focused on my studies a lot more and I went back to singleplayer games, admittedly 2014 wasn't a great year for gaming but I catched up with a lot of games released from 2011 til then. I don't regret it and have never felt the urge to go back to it. I follow the artists on ArtStation but that's it. I have no interest in going back and it worked wonders for me. Tried to get into Fortnite as well but two matches in, and I knew it was a HARD PASS for me. For almost a year I basically stopped playing multiplayer games until I found out about people from my college played OW and I've been having a ton of fun ever since (Lockout is pretty much the only thing I enjoy playing in Overwatch). We are not always online, but when we do get together to play, it's usually a blast, like once or twice a week, sometimes every 2 weeks.
If you don't like the game, don't force yourself to enjoy it. Do your thing and try new things. Try singleplayer games, who knows? Maybe you'll enjoy them more
