One X has a 60FPS mode and a 4K Mode. This should ideally be 4K 60FPS with everything maxed out.

its 4k 30 or 1080p 60 on 1X. my gtx 1070 was able to run horizon 4 at 4k 60 when the game came out... 2 years ago.

I sadly can't understand HDR in my PC, so I've been playing this without HDR at 1440p/60.

Forza Horizon 4 will run at 4K/60fps with dramatically improved draw distance, shadow quality, particle effects etc., similar to Ultra setting on PC, on Xbox Series X according to Forza Monthly.

I won't miss the initial loading screen... The only negative point of this game for me was the long loading screen at the beginning.

This has me thinking: One downside to Series X enhancements is that I have less of a desire to play these games right now.

I've also forgotten what details, if any, there are for games that are not specifically enhanced but will play on Series X (Xbox, 360, or One). I'm catching up on the Assassin's Creed series. On Unity and I wish the load times were better and maybe the framerate/resolution could be enhanced without a specific patch.

Framerate should be rock solid (though not 60, that would require a patch or unlocked framerate) and load times will definitely get cut to a fraction.

Resolution won't automatically improve, except games with dynamic resolution will spend a lot more time (possibly 100%) in native.

HDR will be added to every game at OS level.

Not going to lie, I hate having to pick between 60 fps and 4k (though, i have to say with my setup and screen size to distance ratio, 60fps is a much more noticeable upgrade than 4k) but most of all I hate the awfully long load times. It's what keeps me from going back to FH4 more often.

Yeah it looks great at 4k/60. Glorious on a 2080ti but actually it's the load times with a SSD which are the biggest advantage. FH4 is slow as hell to load on console and just a few seconds on PC. No doubt XSX will see a similar advantage in that department, if not better.

You're right but even to upgrade the car in that mode takes too long.
