Pretty sure if you go into the DLC cars menu you can re-buy it for its regular price.
Just keep in mind that if you're going for skill points, the most you can get in any combo is 10 :)Not sure when this happened exactly, probably in the last month or so, but you may remember that I complained that despite unlocking that home in the woods, my skill songs never activated. Been playing since launch and not once I had a skill song on the radio. Well, yesterday I was driving towards a Forzathon Live event only to realize that home has been unlocked again as if I've never bought it before (I did so in like the first or second day after launch originally). I was able to buy it again and voilà, I've had two skill songs ever since. Very happy that this issue finally got fixed, now to work on beating my Forza Horizon 3 record skillchain:
Thanks, noticed that. Still, there's Horizon Edition cars that give bonus points on specific skills, so I'll have to choose the right one. Next week I'll probably go for a 50m+ score once I choose the right car, set it up, do some tests, etc..
Any predictions for what the setting for the second DLC will be? I'd like to see something like the Hot Wheels Island again.
The best one I've found is the BMW M6 FE car. I think it has damage bonus? I could average around 1 skill point a minute if I took that on the landing strip and just fanged it up and down. Did that with a tune from one of the big streamers... Don Joewon Song.
It depends on what you want to concentrate on: crashing into things, jumps, drifts. The Renault 5 Turbo Horizon Edition boosts all your skills in general which makes it ideal for general boosting (I used it a lot to get skill points for example with its 7x bonus), that's a good starting place.
The BMW M6 FE has a drift bonus. I use it to grind shitton of skill points on the freeway and its awesome.
There is solid risks of crashing once or twice and lose the combo. Keep in mind that what I'm aiming for here is a combo that will take a few hours probably, so I'll need to plan it out properly. I have a place or two that is ideal, not 100% foolproof but definitely ideal with the right amount of care on the accelerator. I'll just have to test out which car nets me the most points per minute for the tricks I'll be doing the most.
Oh yeah, I used the freeway to hit my 6m chain. I stopped because I was too worried about losing it. lol
600 is too much. And building on the points is a grind - the weekly forzathon (200 points total) seems like a lot of work for a small amount of points.
It doesn't really have a lot of water anyway. There's that lake, the coast and a pond somewhere I can't remember.
I wish there was more to do there, I feel like FH4 is geared towards getting you online. No championships has been a bummer and I LOVE FH4. I've just gone back to FH3 and finally bought the DLC for that. I miss 60fps though.
If you are talking about the treasure chest on the island, you have to jump from the West side of the lake.
Already got them, only played Fortune Island when it was spring. So was curious to see how it looked in winter but left disappointed.
Ahh, I found out about the water not freezing because I didn't know how to get that chest. Thought you might have been in the same boat. Lol

is anyone on PC ever getting into the game without DLCs/packs being available to them? I logged into FH4 today saying I can't go on Horizon life as well as not being able to use to the Mitsubishi car packs and car pass cars as well as not owning the VIP house.

When are they gonna make those cars locked behind spinwheels etc available. Shit is mad annoying. Ive been wanting the Civic Type-R since release but missed out on it.

yeah happens to me all the time, seems to happen more if i logout in a mitsubishi car or exit out on fortune island. dunno what the bug is, its annoying as hell. for now i have my home set to VIP house and try to logout in a launch car but even still i sometimes lose the VIP house and have to rebuy it (for free)

Maybe they don't want to us to be hoarding a lot of FP and increased it. I have like 17k FP atm and really don't use it all that much.
I read somewhere that was it was actually only 200.
17k is insane, no wonder you're not short on credits. I've only got 2k FP. I guess on paper your theory makes sense but what's the point of saving up points if they're just going to artificially inflate the price as time goes on? The main reason people are hoarding is because there's not much to actually spend it on in the first place which is a separate issue. It also screws over new players who are starting from scratch.
I like having weekly championships to do for rewards (and the new community ones have been a nice touch recently) but I really wish the Fortune Island ones would get the same treatment. Feels like there were maybe three or four weeks of those and that's it, all done.

I checked AH for the CV, nothing. Then checked again straight away, and one appeared, and it was gone buy the time I tried hitting buy now.
It's happened so many times now. I have missed a 93 for 15k, 5 CV's for 28k and a Twin Mill for 80k. Grrr!!!!

The new Weekly Forzathon is really funny, I loved all the F&F references. I also am digging them putting in player made custom routes for the Championships.
They have acknowledged the issues with the Forza Hub and game stats not updating.

I thought something was up. I wasn't positive but it felt like I haven't got my rewards in a few weeks.
The last month or so I have not been getting a payout, but then the next week I have received double, my concern was that is could be a prelude to future issues with my account.
So after this game and the demo simply refusing to start on Win10, and giving up, I tried it again and it miraculously works. I know I've had some Windows 10 updates, so they seemed to have fixed whatever the conflict is. So that's a relief.

I don't recall any particular issues from recent play. What does 'fucked' mean, in particular?
Sometimes it doesn't work at all, sometimes the rewind period is a matter of seconds for no reason at all. Didn't have any problems with it before.
Is there a glitch or something with the mixer level constantly showing on screen?
