Preview embargo is over and previews starting to appear everywhere. The Forza Horizon 4 demo is possibly coming today, too.

The quote makes perfect sense. The Witcher 3 is thought of as being the best in class, the standard to which other open world role playing games are measured.

Thats what that person thinks Forza Horizon 4 is shaping up to be.

Looks like this could be one of the best racing games ever made.

Won't be stealing GOTY from RDR2 or God of War, but dam that game looks good and impressive

I'm intentionally avoiding deep dives about the game world and very specific details, but I skimmed through most of the stuff in the OP and holy shit this game is looking better and better. The graphics, the amount of content, the attention to details, the handling (FH3 was already basically perfect in that), the atmosphere... we barely even need other racing games at this point. Also it's so damn awesome this is on Game Pass so I get to play it "for free", and then pick up the major expansion packs with a discount when they become available. Can't be arsed about a billion car packs since the base game already launches with more than I'lll drive anyway.

To compare a car game with the state of the TW3 engine regarding physics, collisions and velocity is not a good idea.

I've literally bought an X for this game. Racing in the UK is the idea I've wanted for years and seems like this will be the best FH yet.

This game's reception will make MS a lot more happy about their decision to acquire PG games. I can't wait to see what these guys pull off with their open world adventure game.
