because while that may be true he was also a massive idiot and terrible writer

the fact that he was able to con the american intelligentsia into thinking otherwise merely proves how gullible and shallow they are
I agree, but that applies to people who are willing to do what he preached instead of seeing the evilness of his ways.

Loved Krauthammer, tremendously smart guy. Conservatism lost a great voice.
Real genius whining about the Berenstain Bears

Mother Bear too is a creation. Every adult will recognize her as the final flowering of the grade-school prissy, the one with perfect posture and impeccable handwriting. The one the teachers loved. The one who disdained your baloney sandwich and pulled fruit salad out of her lunch box, minding her cholesterol in 1958. The one you always dreamt of drowning. Well, she grew up to marry Father Bear Berenstain of Bear County.

RIP

I didn't agree with him on many things, but I will always remember him for being the one voice of reason when Mel Zelaya was ousted from power in Honduras:

Whenever you find yourself on the side of Hugo Chavez, Daniel Ortega and the Castro twins, you ought to reexamine your assumptions.

If you are not familiar with what Charles did over at Fox News, you don't need to pretend to mourn him. Sometimes we don't need to feign sadness.
It's interesting that this post got such a hostile response when it doesn't explicitly condemn the person in question, or even those that are legitimately mourning him, just points out that if you're not familiar with him you might be expressing sympathies that you wouldn't otherwise. "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything," is a common platitude but saying something nice when you have no substantial context or reason to do so is expected, even though when it comes to controversial public figures it effectively amounts to supporting one side and enabling hagiography.

Nah. Just imagine a racist like him going heaven and god is black and is full of minorities. It's justice.

I also love how these posters in here say he is a great voice for conservatives. It barely hides their own racism and misogyny.
Yea but heaven? Why not like a purgatory or some other multiverse that is just minorities that controls society.

I will not mourn him and I will not celebrate his death.

His life’s work helped strengthen and legitimize an ideology that actively seeks to harm the underprivileged and underserved. That is his legacy.

However, cancer is an absolutely horrific way to die and it’s unfortunate that he suffered and died because of this horrible disease.

My condolences to his loved ones.

Thanks man. Appreciate the sane response!

So a man just died of cancer and instead of just not commenting or "i disagreed with him but cancer is a shitty way to go" you compare him to a nazi. Im sure you dont realize it but you are part of the problem. You disgust me and are a bad human being.
He was an initial promoter of the black crack baby propaganda, supported torture, and according to that tweet repurposed nazi propaganda. Yet your disgust is reserved for that poster for pointing out Krauthammer's actions?

Everyone remember this thread when a big liberal voice dies and the conservatives say "good riddance" or I'm glad they're dead.

So when someone dies, all of their actions are forgotten? Do you apply this disgust about a discussing a person's actions to everyone when they die?

If that liberal said racist things and was continually part of Fox News' propaganda machine then what is the problem.

So im kind of looking for quotes where he is for eugenics, pro death to jewish people, believes that black people are genetically inferior and what specifically he endorsed for torture

If said liberal promoted racist propaganda they will receive the exact same sentiment I expressed on the former page.
Yeah. Lol at the posters playing with the both sides bullshit rhetoric.

Call me when a liberal spreads hate, racism and bigotry as a staple of their party and beliefs! Oh no, forgot is only one party the one that likes that stuff, and in the name of god nonetheless.

Keeping in mind that this was a false epidemic:

https://fair.org/extra/the-myth-of-the-crack-baby/

Krauthammer cited the American Enterprise Institute’s Douglas Besharov (the man to thank for the blood-chilling term “bio-underclass”), who says: “This is not stuff that Head Start can fix. This is permanent brain damage. Whether it is 5 percent or 15 percent of the black community, it is there.” Krauthammer compared cocaine-exposed children to “a race of (sub)human drones” described in Huxley’s Brave New World, and pronounced that their “future is closed to them from day one. Theirs will be a life of certain suffering, of probable deviance, of permanent inferiority. At best, a menial life of severe deprivation.” In his opinion, “the dead babies may be the lucky ones.”
Black crack babies (a false epidemic) are sub human drones? Dead black babies better than the living? I don't know if this meets your requirements but it is vile.

All this time I never knew he was paralyzed and I've been aware of his articles and TV appearances for the past 15 years or so.

I'm not going to spit on someone's grave just because they had an opinion or said things I strongly disagreed with. I save my venom for those like Steve Miller who are not only pure evil but also have real power/influence to destroy thousands of lives and affect millions.

My mom died of cancer, so I know how terrible it is for him and his family. But if there's a silver lining, at least he knew when he would die so he could put things in order and say his goodbyes while he still had his mental faculties.

That poster responded to your disgust comment. There was nothing in that post about nazis. I am guessing you know that but that doesn't help your argument so you're pulling this shit.

I read that article. This article calls out Krauthammer even though he based his conclusions on scientific studies. The article goes on to condemn The New York Times. The washington Post, Time, USA Today and more. Are all those institutions racist?

Is Krauthammer an entire institution comprised of many individuals or an individual?

those institutions have individuals that decide what are legitimate news stories

Edit If anything it would be more disturbing that an institution of many beings decided to be racist. the point however is that they werent racist they were just using the info that scientist of the time were putting out.
