No, they are not. They are an independent studio.Sorry for asking here, but I'm confused. Is GenDESIGN a SIE subsidiary? If yes, why did Ueda form a new studio inatead of just staying in SIE Japan Studio?
I think it's pretty much confirmed at this point.
How?
They are teasing it on the genDESIGN webstite, so I guess they own the IP.
No thanks. Ueda is known for his minimalist storytelling. Its one of his strengths. Naughty Dog games are in the complete opposite direction.
This is not a proof...Like at all. They are teasing it on the genDESIGN webstite, so I guess they own the IP.
What I was thinking. Really makes me think of Inside and Little Nightmares.
Thanks for this. Only saw a hand a black background before. LolPlayed with the highlights and contrast to make the monster more visible:
"I think it's pretty much confirmed" "I guess" these two don't go together usually. Going third party doesn't mean you can't have a contract with publishers and having a teaser on your website doesn't mean you own the ip and owning the ip doesn't mean Sony isn't going to work with him as they did with third party publishers before on IPs they don't own. They are teasing it on the genDESIGN webstite, so I guess they own the IP.
Doubt there's any ties.
Arnt Jensen (director of Limbo & Inside) and Ueda collab. What I was thinking. Really makes me think of Inside and Little Nightmares.
It's not the same alter, different design and different number of steps up...This looks related to sotc, with the alter, the white doves, the girl andThe only difference is that the girl is blond here and the game she had dark here, but this could be due to the lighting of the image.Dormin
I doubt this is a sequel or successor to shadow, since I think it is not his style to do sequels. This may just be a celebration of the remake of shadow.
Hope I am wrong and it's a new game, but it will take a while since he took a break after the last guardian so he most likely didn't start so long ago.
