I think when charged with the "this place isn't fun" people tend to try and be fun or funny similar to how unconfident people try to be confident. Like, the very obvious image macros sceam of sanitized joy as if the most neutral image was used as to avoid any mishaps. You may as well just say, "the cake is a lie". Like, imagine you're having a conversation and these are the responses you give, I'd wager most onlookers and converators would cringe in silence.

See. this is what I'm talking about. I get what you're trying to do but it's a bore. It's way too forced. A lot of the organic fun is gone. All we can do here is argue. We argue the same topics but in different situations. Day after day. Night after night. It feels like joy is gone or we're way too old so all we got are generic meme image macros to stave off the inevitable which is being old and out of touch. But that's not me as I enjoy actual fun things not on Era.
