This seems like a good place to ask

Why the fuck did Tolkien name his main character after Frozen Yogourt?

See. this is what I'm talking about. I get what you're trying to do but it's a bore. It's way too forced. A lot of the organic fun is gone. All we can do here is argue. We argue the same topics but in different situations. Day after day. Night after night. It feels like joy is gone or we're way too old so all we got are generic meme image macros to stave off the inevitable which is being old and out of touch. But that's not me as I enjoy actual fun things not on Era.

Am i wrong? No.

Don't @ me.
Have fun you fucking scumbag

I think a lot of the fun has shifted to other platforms like Discord. Who actually comes to Era besides to see some news and argue?

Anyway since none of you will answer my question I had to answer it myself.

Tolkien was a very prescient writer. So he saw the modern struggles with childhood obesity coming so he presents Froyo as a filthy Habbit, a high sugar food that children should in fact drop like a filthy habit. Now I imagine he started the book series with a much more hardline approach and that end the end he was going to have the Fellowship drop the filthy Habbit Froyo into the volcano... but then I think he realized that moderation and addressing temptation over prohibition was more effective. Hence Gollum who emaciated represents the dangers of prohibition and addiction. The ring of course represents temptation and so in the end Tolkien drops the ring and not the filthy Habbit into the volcano because it is temptation and addiction and not Froyo himself that is dangerous.

Jesus, mods. Can you make a threadmark for where you reversed the fun policy? People are gonna get confused now. Is it too much to ask for a little bit more rigorous bookkeeping on when and where certain types of fun are allowed?
