PC Stuff: https://pastebin.com/Ekn0b5Dn

Regarding frame rate
30FPS limit, 60FPS limit, FPS fluctuation (essentially no upper limit) option
By adding an upper limit of 144 and 165 as a bonus, it corresponds to two specifications of currently popular monitors. According to the feeling of CES held in January, it is expected that 240Hz (240FPS) monitors will become popular in the future.
Note: PC games PC games support variable refresh rate modes such as G-SYNC and Free Sync (no extra coding required)
Monitor output resolution
Allows you to output any resolution according to your monitor / Windows environment
Do not hard-code the output resolution or limit it to 720p (Switch handheld mode) or 1080p (docking mode)
Input / output device optimization
Key binding / customization, mouse input optimization using direct input (avoid analog stick emulation)
UI navigation via mouse / keyboard
Fine-tune / options for baseline graphics and video output performance
Texture filtering, antialiasing, anisotropic filtering, shadow quality options, V-sync ON / OFF.
The game should support full screen, window mode, and borderless window mode
21: 9 (ultra wide) and other graphics related support

Bonus:

Nice to see these kinda deals surface to be honest.

Well since everythign is removed, Nintendo paid Capcom around 6M USD for 9 months of exclusitivity, they could have paid more for a permanent one.

The more I see of Capcoms internal documents the more I love the company. First making giant steps towards diversity and inclusion and representation and now one about petting the dog. If they deliver on their promises they'll be my favourite company, no doubt.

Dont we have the big Capcom ransom leak thread for this ? While its interesting that new stuff is being uploaded its also weird making new threads about this stuff.

Ive gone through the PC specs stuff - seems pretty much what is expected or am i missing something worthwhile ?

I find very amusing that they use the Can you pet the dog account hahaha and now I’m curious what did Capcom ask for total exclusivity.

6 months isn't too bad compared to some other recent moneyhats.
i'm hoping capcom will go with cross play and cross save/progression when the pc version is released.

Great to see they've learned from MH World in those PC spels list. Especially the mouse aim implementation, I have no clue how they didn't see analog stick emulation as a problem until players felt how horrible analog emulation on mouse is.

I don't think I've ever seen an internal leak as massive as the Capcom leak before, so I have no idea if serious talks of diversity and representation is standard (and whether that same sentiment actually goes into the games they make), but I also have high hopes that Capcom delivers on it after seeing how much it indicated that they really care about being inclusive and diverse.

Capcom gave Nintendo 9 months exclusivity for less than 2 million lmao. Might as well do it for free.

I mean the game i developed with the Switch in mind to begin with - probably would be quite more expensive if this was a game targeting PS/Xbox as well. They have a strong base on PC anyway and its gonna sell there for years as well, so Capcom isnt losing alot.

2 million is hardly chump Change, seems pretty good for nothing.

I do think it’s an interesting decision. MHW has shown that the potential for MH on PC is huge and it would seem more valuable to me to push the franchise on that platform than to take deals like this.

I wonder how much of that money Nintendo is going to claw back because of these leaks inevitably meaning some sales will be lost for the switch version. They must be pissed that it's an open secret that a PC version is coming later.

World did ridiculously good on PC. If Capcom is gonna be console exclusive with NIntendo, they might as well get a little bit of both sides. Knowing that a PC version is coming tho I'm probably gonna wait

I madae a mistake, its not 200M Yen, it's 600Yen. Further 200M Yen would make them not release on PC.

Gotcha, I wonder if we’ll see a Switch Pro soon.

You'd think that would be in the Leak also, right?

Nintendo could ask for some money back, right?

They could but the deal was probably made a long time ago. Usually this would be locked to Switch but Capcom also knows how big the nextgen and PC console base is. They could always just delay the game and launch on Switch and PC on the same day.

I could also see MS or Sony doing the same for MHW2.

What's that referring to? It's hard to catch all the Capcom news lately.

I had a blast with MHW, so I think I'll get Rise when it comes to PC. Sounds like they actually want to deliver a good PC port out of the gate this time :)

I'm of course going to be there day one and I can't wait to get my hands on the game but reading through this just made me realize something. No matter which version I get (Switch or PC) the only available version of this game both have "comprised" ecosystems where hacking is an option and that sucks because I didn't have to deal with that in Monster Hunter World on PS4.

So now it's going to have to be the same dance and song of me having to pull up Athena's A.S.S. after Athena is done properly updating it for Rise (which won't take long because this game is going to be immediately Data Mined on Switch) to see if somebody hacked in their build because it's seems too Broken/OP/Impossible and promptly kick them from my room because I refuse to play with hackers.

I'm not looking forward to having Athena's A.S.S. on standby again for the 7th game in this franchise.

Leaked Capcom documents details importance of more quality representation for women, people of color, & the LGBTQ+ community in future games

I spoke with Jawmuncher & got approval to make this thread (he even helped me with the title), seeing as it's great news for Capcom going forward. Given that the quote in the other thread comes from a questionable source, I'll do bullet points instead. The document cites Spider-Man: Miles...

Looks like backdoor dealing going on, shitty move by Nintendo and Capcom for the consumer. I know it probably happens all the time, but that doesn't mean it isn't shitty for the consumers who are made to wait for some paltry sum of money.

Regarding those specs, is there any spec info about the Switch version? The OP mentions Switch is 720p undocked/1080p docked, but did they derive that from some earlier leak or was it mentioned in this one specifically?

Why would anyone care about hackers in Monster Hunter game? You care about some kind of rankings that much...?

I'm so happy all this got leaked because I hate double-dipping and I can easily wait till fall for 60 FPS version.

yeah, i don't think this will make much of a difference for nintendo or capcom, and i seriously doubt nintendo will ask for some of the money back because of the leak.

I'd be surprised if they even could if they wanted to, assuming money has already exchanged hands and contracts have been signed.

I wish we could leave the dark ages of Nintendo MonHun behind us and have the franchise breathe free on as many platforms as possible without compromises. World was a great step forward. Rise is a massive money-hat shaped step back.

I guess they learned their lessons from MH World PC launch. Hopefully the won't mess the PC textures again.

It might be arguable for PS4/XB1, but PC and Switch have an entirely different audience. Loss of sales won't be noticeable.

That's quite a take. World and it's inevitable sequel can cater to the 'no compromises' crowd. What about the huge portable fanbase for Monster Hunter?

I double dipped from PS4 to PC for the performance with Iceborn but I don't think I'm interested in starting over once again, they have to get cross-save in place.

I never encountered any hackers or overly stats boosted people in the 700 hours I played World on PC.

If Nintendo and Capcom believed that knowledge of a pc version wouldn't negatively affect switch performance, they wouldn't officially be keeping it under wraps.

This hasn't really got anything to do with what I said or what I was responding to. I'm saying that the PC leak, as it stands right now, isn't going to have a meaningful impact on the Switch game sales.
