The issue is that the quality has been dropping drastically over the last few seasons. Surely you have felt the writing going downhill?
They'll weather the fecal matter and hope people are more forgiving by the time the prequel series is released.
The quality has dropped in terms of writing, yes. I acknowledged that it's got pretty huge flaws. But I'm still enjoying it immensely for what it is.The issue is that the quality has been dropping drastically over the last few seasons. Surely you have felt the writing going downhill?
In terms of petitions like this, they are stupid as hell and people write articles about them just to get clicks. I can find you wayyyyyy dumber petitions than this. They just aren't worth talking about.
Not that I don’t agree w you, in that I doubt it’ll ever lead to anything. But what makes you think these are people who can’t care about both real world problems and complain about a show they like? Are people super one-dimensional?
They really are. How many people here that complain about societal issues actually volunteer for or donate to local causes? Things that actually help make a difference as opposed to creating useless online petitions or complaining online.
I'm literally repeating the last headline about viewership. I think everything is crazy rushed but the people signing this petition are barking up a lonely tree.
GRRM superfans will say it's better and not the same because it has buildup and appropriate arcs and character nuance. Which they would be right. I enjoy the show for what it is anyway.
Threats and intimidation towards D&D I expect, among other things including shattering GoT blurays on YouTube
Nah, but it could be fun if a shitload of people sign it, the worst thing that can happen is nothing is done and the status quo is maintained. It's a heck of a lot better than people harassing D&D or whoever else.
They destroyed two main characters. One that has been a good person, wants rid the world of tyrants and end slavery, goes from saving innocent people and risking her life to save Westeros from the undead, to killing children and destroying an entire city because she hears bells, in the span of two episodes. The other is man that starts bad and spends the whole series trying to redeem himself, only to end up right where he began as the same exact person.
